So I noticed during the "Monet dead" tal on her talk page that everyone basically to insulting each other and disrespecting others opinions. I will speak up on this as I feel this is a direct insult to the founding of the wikia.
This big aim of this discussion now is to stop this occurring in further discussions, as this isn't he first time I've noticed this over the years. A lot of it occurs becaus a certain person just repeats themself over and over again, when no new argument is put forward by them, it fustrates a lot of people. Then the petty insults and disrespects start either from him or someone else as they loose their patience. To me, the Monet death disussion is the final straw.
so the proposal is this;
Anyone who results to petty insults and/or disrespect of and editors opinions and arguments '''needs''' to be warned. So ifs, no buts.
On the 3rd warning, a further insult - they are banned from the discussion as it is clear they cannot be civilized. If one has to make a point, it should not be to gin the upper hand on another editor. If the only point tey have on top of their previous discussions is to insult the editor then the have no point about the manga to make at all. This is how I view it.
Wikipedia could not find itself to allow editors to have a opinion and only was concerned with politics and rules that didn't always turn out for the best. I was there during that crap. This is why I feel it goes against the spirit of the foundation of the wikia. We came ere to breathe, if we did not take into account everyone's bit and opinions, the wikia wouldn't have taken off. I understand there will be conflicts of interest and of opinions, I understand people won't get along. I understand we all ave good intentions much of the time. But I do not understand what personnel attacks have to do with One Piece.
