I think Shanks is one-handed swordman since Oda replied in SBS that losing an arm didn't weakened him a bit,,agree????
But he is alot weaker in my opinion , becouse he lost his stronger arm.
Yes, definitely Shanks is a one handed swordsman, considering he has, well, one hand.
In flashbacks he was shown using his sword using his left hand. While then too he was only using one hand, losing your dominant arm has to have some effect on your overall strength I think. Also, you'd swim much better with all 4 of your limbs intact. It may be that when we saw him in the flashbacks he wasn't as strong as he is now, but that only reinforces my belief that he would've have been much stronger if Luffy hadn't been an idiot.
But Mihawk said to shanks:
"I have no interest in challenging a one-armed man like yourself"
So maybe he have weakened due to his lost arm...
Poor guy ......
I wonder how he clean up every morning after
Poooo.... Never mind!!!!
@Halazar , Mihawk said that becouze he wanted to fight Shanks at his full power. Meaning Shanks lost his dominant hand in which he held his blade , also in alot / well all sword fights you kinda need both hands , for more strenght , better grip etc... ( except fencing tho)
D.Ducis that's exactly what I meant
What do you think?
