However, I wouldn't ever like this happening without a genuine cause or maybe Chopper's miracle cure would undo that..whatever... but... just need ur views...
I hope he at least inbeds his legacy in like Boa Hancocks womb before his demise
^woo... thats a bit harsh hahahhahaha :D
Eh, everyone dies eventually.
^point ... -_-
I think he'll die but after he accomplishes everything he wants and his crew wants.
He'll die when its time for him to die anyway
When he dies , there will be one more luffy who sets sail to become pirate king ....
I see Luffy and Sabo visiting Ace's maybe Shanks grave At the end. Drops the hat, says he finally completed his dream and then Smiles....Yaay A happy ending...Or....
I think Luffy dying would be the most satisfactory way to end the story. But it won't be a sad kind of death you know? It will be the kind where it'll be a decision on Luffy's part rather than external factors. Because once the One Piece is discovered, you can bet your ass that that will be related to the Void Century in one way or another. And when it's discovered and the final aim is fulfilled, there'll be nothing left in this world to be explored. We know that Luffy is not the kind of person who wants to sit idly around and settle down, he always wants an adventure, he wants to brave through the dangers, as he has done many times. Wouldn't it be great if he were, at the end, given the choice of death, which would promise him the start of a new, great adventure?
I envision the One Piece to actually be technology which fulfills the dreams of individuals. Like, it will pave the way for them to fulfill their dreams. That's why the World Government is so afraid of it and tries to restrict the freedom of others. That's what prevents people from truly trying to stand up to them, because such a device could potentially allow them to stand up against the World Government. But Luffy's dream is the adventure and I can truly imagine that it will be a device which allows him to fulfill that by sending him to another world where he can continue the adventure.
In that case, I can then imagine that the farewell between the Straw hats, who would have all achieved what they wanted to achieve, and Luffy would be tearful, sad and yet, the most joyous thing. It would mean that the straw hats fulfilled their promise to Luffy to stay loyal to him and to help him find the One Piece and since all of them would've fulfilled their dreams by that time, they would know that Luffy had kept his side of the promise, that is, he became a man who could protect their dreams.
Haha it would be kind of boring to see him live, he'd be the strongest pirate alive by that time but the ending above would be perfect as the freedom he would've attained by having a choice between life and death would mean he has truly risen above all others and become the eternal pirate king.
If that the case.. Rwmember the name trafagal water d law... And his DF law owe luffy that much..
What do you think?
