I think akainu is much stronger than we think coz when whitebeard's commanders who used haki on akainu n cut him still he didn't die it was as if they didn't use haki
I think that particular situation is just Oda not knowing how Haki was gonna be. It seems as if Oda didn't really nail haki down until after the timeskip. Rayleigh does some things that don't really make sense when he explains it. Then after the skip we get more concrete visuals and demonstrations.
It could be that, it's really hard to get all of the meaning of it
It makes sense to me, ASL. Remember when Doflamingo kicked Luffy in Gear 4th, and even though Luffy was using haki there, he still stretched? You can use haki to defend against haki and still keep your DF ability.
Yeah but if Akainu was using haki wouldn't that make his body more tangible. Like instead of cutting through him it would have bounced off? The reaction just seems more like someone attacking him without haki.
Luffy df ability isn't supposed to work when clad in haki, he surpasses that in only g4
@raw, remember a certain move called elephant gun ?
He blows up his arm... Then use haki
He's arm isn't rubbery then. Thats why when doffy hit him in g4, he was confused that he's body was still rubbery. Read luffys page on wiki concerning G4
@raw. dont much rely to wiki. they can guessing anything whatever they want. luffy arm is rubber whether he uses haki or not. why you still confusing luffy isn't rubberman. remember he ate gomu2. hhahaha
Its not about his df though its the fact that when Armament haki hits its like metal and therefore would bounce off not slice through anyway. If Marco's haki was stronger it would make more sense to me.
He could find One Piece in 1 year
What do you think?
