Discussion Thread For Chapter 966: Roger And Whitebard(Spoilers)

I want to hear everyone's thoughts on the recent chapter. What really made this chapter so great is that we finally got confirmation on the way Roger fought. In his clash with whitebeard he used a sword with distinct markings on the blade that resembled shusuis markings but had a rounded hilt.

What also surprised me is that Oden was the one that wrote the message on the gold bell in skypeia. With everything moving pretty quickly in the chapter as of late Odens "death" and kaidos encounter is coming soon, bringing us to the present storyline.

This chapter was insanely hype. We more or less got confirmation that Scopper and Rayleigh were the strongest people on Roger's crew back then. So, maybe Scopper will actually become relevant at some point.

I loved the clash between Oden and Roger as well as Roger and Whitebeard. After so long we are finally at the point where Garp, Whitebeard, and Roger were seemingly all at the same level at least as viewed by the community as a whole. Or at the very least it would be hard to argue otherwise.

The fact that the fight between Roger and Whitebeard went back and forth will hopefully get that "PK," phallus-shaped object out some people's mouths...

We got some more weird information about Blackbeard, apparently he didn't sleep the entire 3 days the WB Pirates and Roger Pirates fought according to Shanks and Buggy.

Overall, an amazing chapter with a lot of exposition. My only personal gripe was how Oden switched from WB to Roger. Though considering their personalities it does make sense. Logically, it's sound, but it just feels a bit off to me. I've also not been paying too much attention, so I can't tell exactly where we are in the timeline.
