What? Both characters have detailed backstories and none of the straw hats are that kind of important other than robins poneglyph reading and luffys heritage

to be fair he does bring up a point but remeber what namis goal was it is to map the whole world you would think that somebody would of tried it given the nature of the world a map would be very useful (it would be very cool and interesting if she was an undercover member of sword)

i thought she could maybe gain a varient of observation haki in some navigational sense but thats weird and there has been nothing like that ever mentioned in one piece.

her and zorros backstorys are pretty tight but zorro still has a bit more mystique than nami buy what she needs is a strength boost though promethius and zeus would boost her clima-tac for sure maybe be the sealer because her future battles are going to be against some of the most dangerous charcters in the show.

I still think Nami's back story hasn't ended. I might agree that she is not someone special (right now). I mean, we all know, by the end of the story, each one of them will be known throughout the world. Now, let's discuss a little bit about the ancient weapons.

1. Pluton

The name itself is derived from the God of underworld, Pluto. We know that it's a deadly battle ship. So, we can say that it basically brings death. Anyone who will sail the ship can bring death at his/her will. Maybe, Blackbeard will be the one to sail it or World Govt has already have it in their possesion. Maybe Pluton could be the reason that it's owners were able to form the govt 800 years ago

2. Poseidon

Clearly the name refers to the God of sea. And Shirahoshi is the one. No discussion needed here.

3. Uranus

This name refers to the God of Sky. Maybe this weapon could provide its user to control the weather and grant it's user the ability to travel anywhere (without a logpose) , maybe the moon and beyond.Now it might sound like a bit of fanfic, but please bear with me. What if Nami's ancestor were from moon or beyond, and they brought Uranus with them. Maybe it is only their lineage who could use the weapon, so the world govt eradicated Nami's parent by attacking the island, making it look like a pirate attack and marine saving it. But, before dying, Nami's parent hid Nami somewhere and Nojiko found her. We know that Nami has a wacky sense for climate (Strongworld is a great example, which was written by Oda himself). She lived at weatheria for 2 years, where she could have learned legends about Uranus, however treated them just as stories (because she is not Robin) . Also if Uranus could help the user to travel anywhere, then wouldn't it will be a great tool for Nami to make maps, even of sky islands, moon and beyond it.

While some of those points make sense a lot of that is wrong

1.Pluton is not held by the govt it was theorized by the scholars at Ohara that the unknown resistance to the world govt during the void century created the weapon soon before their destruction same with the poneglyphs which were made to save its design

2. Nami is not an agent of shield she spent her life stealing for Arlong and the marines would have gotten involved if she told them about it and to become an agent of shield you have to fake leaving the marines and become a pirate or rogue and she was never a marine at any point not only that but Nami is completely loyal to the straw hats after they saved what she had spent her whole life trying to save and Oda wouldn’t randomly turn a beloved character into a secret agent 20 years later

3. Let’s be real here Nami’s origins are completely inconsequential she was left on a battleground by a bad (or dead) parent and saved by a random marine and if she was some great weapon we would’ve seen it by now and the only thing even remotely having a hint of her being Uranus is her natural talent for navigating which is good but still she isn’t anything near an island destroying battleship or a person who can control sea kings

4. We know zoros backstory he wandered around making a living while training, its simple do you really think a guy like zoro who can’t navigate his way home would really have any alterior motives and even then what would he have done he wasn’t a marine he wasn’t a pirate and there’s no other organization that he would go to that wouldn’t bring him a bounty

5. These characters aren’t gonna get any more backstory, one piece has so many characters so why would Oda waste time detailing their pasts when we could see the backstories of amazing characters like the yonko or the marine admirals/ vice admirals or literally any other character with little to no backstory

You are correct. We need the yonkos and admirals backstory rather than the strawhats, but still we got sanjis backstory embedded with big moms back story.

Also I mentioned that my theory on Uranus may sound more like a fanfic. However, there are civilization on moon, and maybe beyond. So, we cannot deny that beside Enel, nobody came to the one piece world in the past. Maybe Imu sama is an alien

I do agree with that many people theorize the world nobles have some sort of alien connection and I hope Oda brings back a few characters from the moon, it’s a cool concept that never got enough attention

I would also like to make a comment on point 4. I never said that zorro is someone special. I only speculated that he might be from an exiled wano group because he uses the forbidden word of samurai in wano, while practicing and he also taught that to momonuske.
