Mate half of Alabasta arc is her crying about something

It is meh to me, she just exists, nothing else.

I go feel the same with Vivi, but I still includes her as a part of Straw Hats. She still their nakama, she just have a responsibility a Princess, maybe If she goes on an adventure again we can able to see her character development.

She's alright. She's a memorable character at the very least.

The parts about her crying; well, just because someone's born to rule a country doesn't mean they can 100% handle it stress free and void of imperfections/mistakes... just imagine if the fate of your own country depended on you...

I couldn’t agree with you more in terms of being glad she didn’t continue on with the crew. However, I don’t think she’s poorly developed, I actually enjoyed the Alabasta arc; I personally can’t think of any reason why Vivi would continue on, she achieved her goal with the help of the Straw Hats

Anyways, crying's besides the point. She and the SHs got sh#t done, and won back Alabasta. As said earlier, I don't LOVE Vivi as a character, but I fail to see why an excuse such as 'she's too emotional' is a reason to not like her?

I respect your opinion, but really; how many times have you seen other titular characters cry? Especially Luffy himself (whether by gag or in all seriousness). Meh.... that's all I gotta say on that. Hope you understand where I'm coming from, though...

I couldn’t agree more. I truly don’t feel like she was apart of the crew either, and if she was she would be the weakest link in my opinion (weaker than alabasta chopper, usopp and nami). Personally i feel like she brought nothing but trouble in a bad way. and not to mention she’s a crybaby.

Being emotional when it's needed is ok but she cries about everything.
