I really can't form a proper opinion on squardo. I don't hate him but I don't like him either. His only role in the story was to embody everyone in the story who hated ace because of his father. It was just someone who helped the viewers qnd the other one piece character understand more that just because you are realted to somone it doesn't mean you are like him in personality or that you will do the same things he did
