At this point it would be quite the shock if Yamato doesn't go with the Straw Hats when the arc is about to end. I'm still waiting for her "tragic childhood past" chapter(s) to be shown, like we have seen with the other Straw Hats (save for Brook and Jinbe, we have seen them as children but not specifically in their "tragic past" chapters).

I like both Yamato and Carrot, the latter more personally, but Carrot unfortunately seems to now be more in line with the usual "close Straw Hat ally" then an actual member possibility.

@Frangb9815 : Yamato's role could easily be an apprentice (just like Kaido's role in Rocks' crew), and her having Oden's will and working towards the whole 'dawn of the world' event can be considered a dream. Btw, lookout is not really a one-man position, anyone in the crew can do that.

Also, asking purely out of curiosity, what exactly has been stated to be Carrot's dream? (unless you count that 'going on an adventure' statement)

If the next crewmates are the last...then please let them be both Carrot and Yamato together. It's not impossible, since at the end of the CP9 Saga, both Usopp and Robin rejoined the crew whilst Franky officially joined. In that sense, it's the reverse situation during the Wano Saga: Jinbe has "rejoined" whereas Carrot and Yamato have yet to join officially.
