Here's a fun fact. When Flampe interrupted the fight between Luffy and Katakuri, her brother didn't take to kindly to it. And Katakuri did the honorable thing and injured himself to make the fight more even. All he had to do was stab himself in the stomach. And Luffy and Katakuri hit Flampe and her goons with a double dose of Conquerors Haki!

I think the best fight. because of Katakuri and the he use his devil fruit I can't wait to see more special paramecia for example acid fruit, maybe user can use this fruit like akainu. I think that would be cool.

The fight was too one-sided. Katakuri seemed to have been forced by plot to be impressed with Luffy so much that he let's him win and go...

Not gonna lie but on the chapter where they clashed their ultimate moves(the final clash) I really thought katakuri was gonna win because that time I thought luffy can just run away with sanji's help if he's defeated since the ultimate goal in whole cake arc was to rescue sanji then run away, not to bring down big mom and his officers so I really thought it's okay if luffy can't defeat him, he can return after wano but NO it didn't happen. Katakuri was portrayed as a man who was never defeated in a battle and is very strong, and in fact his strength in the crew is only below his yonko mother. Still Im glad we were introduced a fine character like kata and have him as a rival /friend to luffy (similar to how whitebeard was to roger) but I still wished he wasn't defeated so early in the series.
