Not so sad but I find Fisher Tiger's one of the most inspired death in One Piece, I adored the character and his lore and death.

Nevertheless, if I must choose the saddest death, Rosinante's is my candidate. He did not deserve such a fate.

I would go with Brook as the saddest death. There's no sadder death than dying alone.
