Currently on episode 98 (sub no Funimation dub yucky) and most of the comedy (the type where a character gets punched for something minor by another character) gets annoying after awhile
@SkywalkerTC i obviously kept it vague since everyone knows it’s mostly her and Sanji doing that type of comedy, but yeah like i said I hate that style of comedy is almost always out of proportion and stupid. And knowing how much Nami loves money I’m surprised she didn’t turn in the other Straw Hates just to collect the reward money because she loves money more than her own damn friends!
You aren’t gonna hear luffy say “hara heta”(I am hungry) much now or many funny scenes like the pre time skip. But I don’t think any of one piece is not funny I think throughout the show it’s been a really funny show
@Actorguy i mean Nami punching the other characters or the other characters being angry at Luffy for some stupid reason or another, 9.99/10 times it isn’t funny and just plain abusive
Pre-timeskip is where they develop their characters, and many of those seem lost in later arcs....
For such comedy, I think most Japanese anime do this. If you don't like this but still like the anime then I guess you gotta be more open-minded towards those!
