Luffy would not have to use his DF awakening for Katakuri…

He isn’t the level of Kaido for Luffy to have to use gear 5th, though his future sight is probably the best in the anime, luffy will make the whole field area made out of rubber and id say he would destroy Katakuri with it even considering how op katakuri is, luffy is said to have the strongest devil fruit now but nobody knew about it until they talked about sun god nika (joyboy) katakuri isnt touching luffy who manipulates all the rubber in the area and im pretty sure can use fire and lightning attcks

Also katakuri injured himself to get him and luffy on equal terms, since he fights with honor because Katakuri’s sister stunned luffy so katakuri could win and pierce luffy

Current luffy would beat katakuri and ease. Current zoro is better then whole cake luffy back then. And he has sword which will hekp him out more, cause he can cut up katakuri and stuff. His haki and physical strength and durability are all superior, so no way katakuri wins.

@The1AmazingSaiyan How are you so sure? First mates of a Yonko crew are extremely powerful individuals. Even though they might not be equal to their Captain, they still have the power to challenge (and potentially kill them). Also, Luffy having to potentially use his Awakening powers wouldn’t necessarily mean Katakuri was on equal footing with Kaido. My point is Katakuri is an incredibly powerful experience individual who could give Zoro a run for his money and beat him because he was pretty much on the same level the Straw hat had finally reached.

@Abaisbalanced I don’t doubt the current Luffy could beat him without their fight ending in controversy. Zoro however I do doubt a bit. While he is definitely better than what his Captain was, I don’t think he has necessarily surpassed Katakuri. At least not enough to make me think he would definitely win.

How? All i have to say is that Zoro learned Ryuo via Enma and cut Kaido, in fact put a pretty fine wound on him if you ask me. Also learned ken haki which should basically put him on the same level as Katakuri due to his future sight even though Katakuri has the best ken mastery in the show (that we’ve seen) Zoro’s conqueror’s haki would overpower Katakuri’s and you cannot tell me any different, zoro surpassed luffy at whole cake so you cannot tell me that Katakuri makes him run

Also Luffy in the Wano Arc is way stronger than he was on Whole Cake, like if Katakuri got hit by one of those punches that luffy hit kaido with (which is obviously possible if luffy was able to hit Katakuri at the end of the fight pretty easily but eh) then Katakuri would already be on the edge of losing especially since Katakuri probably hasnt learned Ryuo yet, which makes it easier for luffy to take the dub so luffy beats Katakuri in base form (Mid-High or High-Extreme) no need for his rubber awakening (Gear 5)

While I do believe that Zoro has grown in strength to the point that he can have a waaay better fight with Katakuri than Luffy did during the Whole cake arc. I don’t think his new strength has surpassed Katakuri. I think the two have similar degrees of strength with Katakuri being possibly more skilled and more dangerous due to his devil fruit powers. I don’t in no way think either one would just easily win.

@ASimon24 Sanji has the ability Hell Memories, he can burn everything in an area of a few hundred meters like he did with Wadatsumi on the Fishman Island.

Personally I also think that Sanji is Yonko 1st commander tier, Zoro would beat him too, but he would definitely have his ribs shattered by Sanji's kicks.

Of course, Sanji is not as skilled with Fire as King for example, but I don't think he would be completely unprotected and without options against Katakuri's Mochi.

Yeah i agree, especially since Sanji basically has a modified body like the other Germas now, his overall strength is said to be far greater than it was when he fought King, so Zoro would extreme-diff sanji

I'm not positive and I don't feel like looking back, but I dont think I said Sanji gets bodied. I think he loses but he'll put up a good fight
