@Fear Sage the thing is though, there’s no confirmation that he did any criminal acts without a good reason, and we never saw him attack marines unless they attacked him first. And joining the wanted man he didn’t really have a choice in, he was literally kidnapped after getting beat up by him.
@Hereje015 blackbeard killed his crewmate. And also destroyed an entire town. That’s a reason to stop him. Because Ace isn’t a bad person, so he doesn’t like it when people do senseless violence. Unlike the World Government who kills people for learning how to read.

No, for researching something that would lead to war and massive casualties. For learning a dead language that would allow people to find and use weapons of mass destruction.
@Fear Sage honestly, I’m not sure if I even believe the ancient weapons exist. They might just be a made up reason for he WG to stop people from learning the true history, which most likely reveals even more horrible things they’ve done. Anyway, this is very off topic from the post, and I don’t rlly feel like debating whether or not the WG is a necessary evil or just evil, so I’ll just say you win the argument
