@Fear Sage name 1 crime worthy of the death sentence that Ace was confirmed to have committed. He was literally only ever shown helping people, or fighting marines when they attacked him first. He’s not a revolutionary, he’s not going out of his way to attack the WG, and he’s only helped people. I know you won’t be convinced since you think the WG and Marines are the good guys for some reason, but this is just a stupid comment on the series

Ace's a good character, but he's still a criminal under laws like the U.S.

18 U.S. Code section 1651: Whoever, on the high seas, commits the crime of piracy as defined by the law of nations, and is afterward brought into or found in the United States, shall be imprisoned for life.

There's also the attempted homicide charge on Blackbeard, which nets him AT LEAST than 30 years and potentially life, along with the multiple he's probably had along the years of defending/attacking with his devil fruit, alongside the attack on the Billions ships, I counted nine, which should net him another ninety years;

And let's not even go over the crimes against humanity charges being affiliated with Whitebeard'll have him in.

I like Ace, too, and while I disagree with Fear Sage on the matter, he's facing multiple life sentences, guaranteed to be in the double-digits here, and would 100% be served the Death Penalty regardless.

@A Professional Idiot mk.2 it's been stated multiple times, even by the Straw Hats themselves (when they encountered Kuzan), that the Marines are the "good guys"

You assume every pirate is like the Straw Hats when in reality, 99% of them go around pillaging, destroying, killing, ra**ng, etc. It's the Marines who protect every nation (affiliated with the WG) against those pirates and allow people to live safely.

Are the top people in the WG good? no, are politicians good in real life? no. it does not make the people who work for the Government "evil"
