I think impel down, the return of baroque works agents and introduction to jinbe makes this a great few episodes to watch
Marineford is one of the 3 best arcs in the series, along with Enies Lobby and Wano. It might be #1, but I’m not sure about that yet.
I think marineford because it was a very intense but intresting arc
Fishman island deff. In terms of lore and story telling, its deff one of the best in terms of that.
Can anybody explain why marineford has great story telling? In terms of writing sure, but story telling, its honestly not the best when it comes to that. We had a few good flashbacks, but most of them weren't really great in terms of story telling. Are y'all really voting on marineford in terms of story, or are y'all voting bc its the best arc on the list and y'all picked without thinking about the actual question? Not tryna be mean, but I just need to know why marineford has great story telling?
How is story telling different from writing?
Story telling is more like lore and backstories and how this specific character ended up like this, etc. Story writing is more about the whole story/arc in general.
Story telling is spontaneous and is often in response to what's said by others in a conversation. It's highly social and each story told reminds people of experiences they can recount. Once the story is told it can't be undone; it's out there. Story writing is deliberate and measured and is typically done alone. I got this info from Google.
Ok. Marineford has Luffy’s backstory does it not?
I'm pretty sure it has small clips of his backstory. Its after marineford when more of his backstory is revealed alongside Sabo and Ace.
Well I kinda just consider Marineford to include from the start of the war to the timeskip, just like how I consider Enies Lobby to be from when they get on the train to when they escape from Garp. So for me it still counts
What do you think?
