You can't say that if you haven't even seen him fight before, kid isn't that strong to be honest he didn't even see shanks face and lost and arm what is shanks ganna do to him

If Kid beats shanks after all these years of hyping him up, and Shanks ultimately has no major impact on the end of the story, THAT would be bad writing.

Best case scenario for Kid and the story, there’s some kind of interference and they don’t finish the fight.

Shanks getting defeated doesn't automatically put him out of the story lol.

I'm not saying kid is going to beat him. They'll probably fight for a while (equally) and then someone or something interferes.
