One thing Usopp is known for doing when scared is trying to intimidate the other person by claiming to have 8000 men under his control. The thing I’m wondering is why he (if my memory is accurate here) consistently cites this specific number, instead of using different numbers in different situations. Is there something special about the number 8000?
