FusionSpell what proof you have to tell his c/ speed is lightspeed

^ as i mentioned before, there's not enough data at all to know exactly what borsalino can do. I hope we see some action in egghead, cus i actually am curious how the potentially fastest man alive actually fights when he isn't just smacking around fodder.

His movements and attacks are linear. And he has to perform a normal kick and generate light from the sole of his foot, rather than one fluid motion in lightspeed, indicating how be becomes light to attack is limited.

Actually…

If you look closely at kizaru’s leg in the top middle image, you can actually see his leg is covered in light or it has the same effect when he just attacked with a light covered body part. It stretches from that point to the bottom of his shoe. So he can definitely increase his kicking speed with light in combat.

The opposite can be true, though. He was previously light, and he reconsitutes himself in order to kick. If he is using the momentum of his light speed blitz to attack, then while it might not necessarily be light speed, it would still be a very fast kick. And he could perhaps have created a blast of light again afterwards

You have to keep in mind that it was directly stated that his light only travels in one direction, so the only possible answer can be either that he is just returning from light in that moment, or he is charging to release a blast at the point of impact.

Hell either way it’s gonna be light speed or very close.

No matter what, it is ridiculously fast, definitely that fastest in the verse imo
