Kaido went down on his back for a second after a much weaker attack from G5 Luffy hit him through his head. This one had fire, Luffy also added muscle to it first, and had ACoA and ACoC applied. Dura Neg is simply an abbreviation of Durability Negation. It means you're going through how durable a character is and instead deal damage as if they don't have anything lowering or canceling it out. In this case internal destruction and Conqurers and fire and stretchyness straight through his brain. Is he down longer than Kaido? Yes clearly, but the fact the man is still talking without Kaido's base massive durability, without his Mythical Zoan, and he took a stronger version? The fact he is considering even getting up is frankly one of the best feats of any character on screen.
Kaido beat Luffy down 3 times, Luffy had a few stamina resets, awakening better ACoC, and Gear 5, went down and had to pull himself back into Gear 5 to finish. And even then Kaido had already taken tons of damage previously, has had a non stop fight and decided to try and clash with the Monkey God Gun instead of dodging. Kaido lost but Luffy is clearly not as strong as he is.
Yamato fought Kaido when he was in his Hybrid Form and wasn't holding back. But he also clearly wasn't going all out either, no Drunken Forms, no Magma Dragon, both of which are massive boosts to his power in one way or another. He clearly wanted Yamato dead but we know objectively he held back because he had higher levels to go that he didn't use. Yamato has no solid feats or arguments for them being on the level of Ryukugyu enough to beat him.
Also Ryukugyu and Fujitora were holding back on Marijoa, as we literally saw Fujitora be held back. He literally began calling a meteor and got told "Hey what are you doing, you can't use that much power here it's dangerous". And base Kaido was being battles by the Scabbards, are the Scabbards base Kaido level? No, because you can keep someone busy without being a match for them in power.
As for King and Queen, they're Zoans, they recover faster. They had like what? 3 days to recover too? Characters have gotten better from worse in less time before. Let's also not forget Ryukugyu was very open in saying he didn't want that fight, that they started it. Why would a hurt King and Queen, pick a fight with an Admiral? Do you think their battle IQ is that bad? With that IQ they may as well try and divebomb the ocean.
Ryukugyu also thought he was going in on an allience of Minks, Samurai and a few Supernova. None of which indevidually would stand a threat to an Admiral, it's also common One Piece knowledge that pirate alliences end in betrayel. He had one, no reason to assume the allience was still together. Two, no reason to believe the narrative of Luffy beating Kaido as the news in One Piece is controlled by a Birs Man who only wants the best story. Three, no singular opponent to fear could match him one on one. Four, blackmail for the Samurai and Minks. Five, the clout of being an Admiral possibly scaring off some of the fighters. He said he wouldn't fight if Kaido was there, no duh, nobody would. Strongest creature in the world. And Ryukugyu ran in alone, he had no backup, he had himself. Also don't forget that Marines can't attack Emperor's outright, that's why SWORD exists, they can, another reason why Kaido being there prevented Ryukugyu from coming in to fight.
And yes, Shanks scared him off. Shanks, another Emperor, put any other character in the position of Ryukugyu there. Let's put Kaido there instead. Kaido rushes Wano at this time, stuck between what's left of the allience and the entire relevant part of the Red Haired Pirates. Alone. You think he's winning that? You think Akainu would? You think any character could go up alone against all of that and win? Cause personally I can't find someone who could. So now, as an Admiral who overestimated his hype and underestimated the resistance from outside parties, do you stay fight and die accomplishing nothing and tarnishing the position of Admiral? Or do you leave? He left, because he's not a moron.
