I'm going straight to the point. There are always comments about Kishimoto being the creator of Dressrosa on any social media, YouTube video, Instagram post, or tweet that includes Dressrosa.
And I have been seeing those comments for many years. But it's getting more nonsense every day. First of all, I would like to clarify that Kishimoto did not do anything in Dressrosa. Neither writing nor drawing it.
Oda was hospitalized on May 21, 2013 and he released chapter 710 on June 10, 2013.
Yes, Oda respects his own work, not allowing anyone else to write or interfere with it.
The idea that Oda would allow anyone to write an arc in this series is beyond me. Because Oda respects one piece story so much that he didn't give any creative rights to Netflix nor let the director do anything with story.
As for Kishimoto, yes, he visited Oda at that time, but there is no likelihood of him interfering with Dressrosa's storyline.
There is nothing in the Dressrosa arc that matches or seems like Kishimoto's work, neither the writing nor chapter 710s drawing. It's physically impossible for Kishimoto to help in chapter 710 as Naruto chapters 628, 629, and 630 were released during that time.
Every time I open Twitter or YouTube, if there is any post about Dressrosa. Then there are always multiple comments asking one piece fans to thank Kishimoto or accept Kishimoto's superiority They often claim credit for Kishimoto, and try to convince others that one piece only gets good because of Dressrosa (which is completely wrong).
YouTube's misleading comments go one step further by cursing anyone who disagrees. For example - When I came across a video where every third comment said......."FUN FACT KISHIMOTO WROTE DRESSROSA ARC" ..... and I answered no to them and witnessed the brutal mentality. More than 25 individuals got triggered.
As on Instagram, every individual has their own head Canon. Just a month ago, I saw a man telling everyone in comments how toei animation visited Kishimoto and begged him to write Dressrosa, and till this day I'm confused how that man even imagined that.
And I've even seen adult men say "Oda worshipped Kishimoto and Kishimoto created haki, Oda himself and his team begged Kisi for writing Dressrosa". These random statements made me cringe on so many levels. And I've seen even worse and multiple false information without legs like these and those people were serious and wanted others to believe it as well.
Instagram comments gets crazier the more you look
However, one thing is common to all those fake rumours and crazy head canons. The source they rely on is a fandom post written by MUNKEDEELUFFIEE
Yes, every single time whenever I ask for proof or source, they sent me this.
Feel free to ask them for proof or any rock solid source, all they will do is give links to MUNKEDEELUFFIEE's post.
The worst part is that the post never said Kishimoto wrote it but it has a sentence that says Kishimoto reached out to help which is a leading point for multiple head canons. Everyone who believes that Kishimoto helps is creating their own event in their head and typing it in the comment section like they were there when Oda was hospitalized.
It gets slightly more worse when you release that MUNKEDEELUFFIEE's posts are word to word copy of tiktoks character caption (sub title), yes the paragraph where MUNKEDEELUFFIEE is talking about Kishimoto's help and witnessing is completely word to word copy of a video of dorons world.
And MUNKEDEELUFFIEE doesn't want to answer or edit his posts. And everyone can understand how valid the post is when there is not even a single proof on the internet and the only post that says the word "help" has source tiktok.
I am done with this, and if these two giants of the manga industry ever collaborated, the Japanese Internet would explode with articles, videos and interviews. Peoples wouldn't reply with fandom post.
