As I said, it is possible to acquire superhuman physical attributes by training in the world of One Piece. Haki is really difficult/impossible without talent or a master. But you can get minimally strong by training.

Emmy I wounldn't really do it with a plan luffy doesn't usually have a plan and he turned out right, and if I wanted to I'd join a good crew and make my own, my dream would still be to have a devil fruit but gains, I'd just be for fun.
