Maybe it’s not intended to be sexist but it does reinforce sexist views

I don't want to offend you but you sound stupid. It's like the reporter who accused that the movie"The promised land" (which Mads Mikkelsen stars) had lack of diversity and doesn't follow Hollywood rules. When n it's clearly a historical movie of 1750s in Denmark .

Firstly, 1750s historical Denmark would actually be realistically speaking quite diverse in skin tone, so let’s be real that reporters not completely wrong.

Secondly, what I’m saying is very different to what you’re using as a means to call me dumb, I’m not saying anything’s wrong, I’m more trying to ask what people’s opinions on this are, and even though it seems like the majority of people don’t like the question I’m trying to ask, I’m still gonna ask it.

Do we not see that Oda has assigned these characters who are intended to represent sections of his mind and ways that he thinks in evil ways, are also intended to be female? Or do people see this as some kind of promotion for women in the text from sex appeal to potential antagonists and representations of evil? I don’t feel like it has to be spelled out that much more… I’m not trying to boycott One Piece, and no matter if these characters are turned out to be evil or not I will continue paying close attention to the franchise, I’m simply asking the question, do we as a community, not we as viewers of the show, see these characters as plots to antagonise women?

First of all I am not saying that you are dumb but that you sound dumb. That's two different things. Secondly the movie "The promised land" isn't a Netflix show.

I would understand your complaint-quandary if you were talking about Oda's "sexy" drawings or when he uses the princess troupe often in his arcs but I think that this is an overreaction for no reason. To the point of complaining whwn there is no problem at all...

It was a sarcastic comment about Netflix shows and the whole forced diversity thing.

@L725 I think I get what you're trying to communicate to people about. In my own opinion, I feel like Oda Sensei might not actually want to come off as being sexist by representing Vegapunk's negative-characteristics-based Stellars with female characters. It just might not be intentional. But on the other note, let's not forget that Eiichiro Oda-Sensei is a master of foreshadowing, he might have used female characters to represent the evil side of Vegapunk because he wants to create a plot where 1,2 or probably all three of them will betray Vegapunk and the Strawhat Pirates. A possible outcome it sounds to be when thought about though, but for me I don't feel like The Absolute Evil Stellar will or is capable of betraying Vegapunk, the most likely characters are Greed and Violence Stellars.

Back to the discussion of Oda being sexist, I think he might be driving toward a plot of Vegapunk's betrayal where he almost lost everything if not for the Mugiwara Kaizoku or some other reasons and realized he has to put a limitation to the amount of information he delves into and considers what influence his creations will have on the general public and not only benefit the Marines and the World Govt., or Oda might just have no reason at all. We just have to be patient and see how it all plays out.
