And yet still oden hadn’t been able to take one more hit, kaido took multiple from him and so did oden but if oden had advanced armament and kaido didnt that shows the power gap between them. I mean, if he did have hybrid he wouldn’t exactly drag on the fight so much and would’ve won in a way that he didnt normally. Except kaido in his not strongest form, and no acoc was on the same level of oden. If he used hybrid, he would’ve won In a normal fight and he swaps during fights and after knowing the opponent is worthy, he switches to hybrid like luffy and Yamato. Ofc it could go either way but in a normal fight between them, then kaido would take it.

Oden from the get-go was never able to beat Kaido from the start but had the potential to and was strong enough to wound him. This is why Kaido acknowledged him, and was still haunted by the fight, along with the scar, decades after. I don't know why you seem to think hybrid forms even matter in this situation anyway. You are essentially strawmanning.

None of these changes the fact that both fighters were universally at the peak of their strength back then. It's already stupid enough to scale a dead character, but if you're willing to scale one person based off the prime of the strength (and strength grows/wanes) then you must do the same thing with Oden, who would have obviously grown stronger as time went on.

Yes, he would have gotten stronger but how much and if it would beat kaido? Maybe but it’s shrouded in mysteries.
