Bruh, you should NEVER skip a canon one piece arc. Each arc is important to the overall story in some way no matter how boring it is. If it's that boring, read the manga version of it at least? Like some comments said, you'd be wondering "why is so and so," or "how did this lead up to this?" Skipping Zou and going onto WCI will have you wondering "WTF happened and how did it lead up to this?"
