SWORD is literally a secret organization that wants to improve the government due to the way they work (being corrupted I mean). It's the only logical thing here. I wouldn't mind Cipher Pol either due to their training, but after I get done with full training, I'd just quit and join SWORD at some point. XD
@Charys Da 2nd quitting Cipher Pol 9 doesn’t exactly seem like something the World Government would allow.
@Atlas D. Aeradon I'm pretty sure you can quit CPA anytime you want to. I don't see what's stopping people from quitting CPA.
@Charys Da 2nd there are Marines who kill their subordinates for not believing in the same ideals as their superiors or if they have concern about citizens or their fellow Marines. My proof is during Enies Lobby Arc when Vice Admiral Onigumo shot and killed a Marine when they arrived at Enies Lobby for the Buster Call. During Marineford Arc, Sakazuki was going to kill Koby. With officers like that around, and the fact that Cipher Pol 9 literally have the license to kill anyone who stands in their way, do you really think they’ll allow someone to just quit and leave?
@Atlas D. Aeradon Well me being in CPA and quitting to join SWORD is nothing special. I could just join the Marines and work alongside SWORD without them knowing. And most of those characters you mentioned didn't kill their subordinates for their different beliefs, it was more so ignoring an order (in Onigumo's case) with Akainu almost killing Coby because he was practically letting the pirates escape which goes against his whole code of being a Marine since their job is to stop pirates and any kind of criminal at any cost.
Ngl, Cipher pol, marines just seem not so interesting, and the others aren't really that interesting as well, aside from SWORD, I still don't get their purpose and what made them
Well CPA is a group mainly to do the dirty work of gathering valuable info (such as info on the Ancient Weapons) and or assassinating certain individuals that are seen as to dangerous of a threat (like Robin or Vegapunk) which is why CPA was involved with the Ohara incident and the Egghead incident that's currently going on. They work for the Government, but they're their own little group.
The Commander in chief is not an "organization", it's a rank, one that in order to get, you would have to spend decades in the Marines, become Fleet Admiral and then, you might get promoted to Commander in Chief (if it's vacant).
Is there any part of the WG that hasn't taken a huge L? anyway I'm going with sword everybody there is a good person though they are kinda of L group since they lost garp
@Blackbeard069 I know it’s a rank. That’s why I put “The” Commander-in-Chief. I couldn’t fit the rest of my question in the subject, so I shortened it to what it is now.
What do you think?
