The lunarians ARE still alive because king couldn't have popped out of nowhere, and I feel like Oda never puts somehting insignificant into one piece, and king said while he was being experimented let US out, iplying that more lunarians were trapped

Thought King is the last one like Kuma is. If more were trapped why didn't Kaido and King let them out? I feel like he would've spoken on it more

Perhaps they he didn't know. Based on few hints and foreshadowing, I think King and the lunarians will return as allies in the final war.
