Kizaru was holding back G5 Luffy and still managed to kill Vegapunk. I would say that would place him a little bit above Luffy. He was also the only one unaffected by a Conquerors Haki that's probably stronger than Shanks' (the Giants' words, not mine)

It's crazy that people still can't accept that the Admirals are on a similar level as the Yonko.

Saying kaido, shanks, mihawk, and akainu rival prime Roger, WB, xebec, sengoku, and garp is a bad take shanks and fraudhawk are just weaker versions of Roger, Kaido would've lost or had a extreme diff fight with oden who gets swatted away by both prime WB and Roger, and akainu like you said is featless right now since we haven't seen him fight since marine Ford where he would get stomped by his current self who most likely got a haki bloom.

Kaido didn’t even bother to use Hybrid Form against Oden, that fight wouldn’t have been close even if it did continue. Plus Oden got oneshot. Even if he was distracted, that’s a pretty clear difference in power.

They could all give Roger or Whitebeard a solid fight, but outside of maybe Akainu, I don’t see any of them winning. Especially Shanks

@Blackbeard069 Holding back and being able to beat a character are two different things. Zoro held back Kaido for a little bit while Luffy was out but he's still not on that caliber of power as of right now. Shoot, Yamato was holding Kaido back while Luffy lost his rematch battle and Yamato is also nowhere near Kaido's caliber

Though Kizaru being unaffected by Joyboy's haki is impressive, I never said Kizaru was by any means weak. Plus, Haki is likely more potent when focused on a single target compared to multiple. On top of that, S-Snake was also unaffected by his haki, and I'm not certain if haki affects non-living beings or inanimate objects, but I'm sure it does. On the other hand, Kizaru already gave up at that point while everyone else that it affected was still trying to catch/destroy the Strawhats, the Giant Warrior Pirates, and Emeth as well (that was more so a theory I heard but it kinda makes sense).

Now that you bring this up and what I said isn't the case, this makes the OG three admirals (possibly Fuji and Greenbull as well) more powerful than people don't make them out to be. This also shows you Kizaru > Gorosei in terms of power. The only thing making the Gorosei dangerous is their immortality and the fact Warcury can't be damaged (aside from overwhelming haki). This upscales Aokiji and Akainu quite more due to this feat, but nonetheless, Luffy > = Kizaru at the end of the day (specifically Luffy in his awakened form).

Well, Zoro never "held back" Kaido, he was destroyed as soon as Kaido attacked him. Yamato however, did. It's not just holding back though, Kizaru had one goal, kill Vegapunk, Luffy had one goal, protect Vegapunk. Not only did Kizaru succeed, he even seemed to playing around with G5 Luffy. The fight ended with Luffy having ben easily outlasted by Kizaru

Then Luffy was saved, given food to recover and finally managed to land an attack on Kizaru while sneaking from behind when Kizaru was about to kill Kuma. Kizaru gets up, easily kicks Sanji out of the way, kills Vegapunk and then is grabbed by Luffy, once again from behind while Kizaru is distracted. This is when Kizaru is finally "taken down". With Kizaru's mission accomplished and him being a bit down for killing a friend, Kizaru had no reason to get back in the fight, he was clearly conscious, he just no longer had any motivation.

Yes, I went back to read the fight again. I see this as a win for Kizaru, not Luffy.

@Blackbeard069 With all due respect but this is still Luffy's win. We already seen how outclassed KIzaru was even while working with Saturn. Again, Luffy BY HIMSELF straight up slapped them together and flung Kizaru (forgot if Saturn also got flung) off the island and Kizaru was done at that point. I'll give credit where its due since he was still conscious, but that doesn't change the fact of how outclassed Kizaru is compared to Luffy's awakened state. On top of this, Luffy was also practically playing around, so we don't even know the full extent of Kizaru's capabilities if he wasn't even giving awakened Luffy a run for his money. And compare this little fight to Kaido's? Luffy was far more serious against Kaido then Kizaru and even when healed, Kaido was still giving Luffy a hard time (Kaido was also injured during this point by the way).
