He WASNT fighting Katakuri the whole time, he left the mirror world to rest, we SEE HIM DO THAT
And Kaido knocked him out twice, killed him once, and Luffy pulled ACoC out of his ass, got saved by Law’s crew, ate a full meal, got Gear 5, and STILL only won the fight because Kaido chose not to dodge Bajrang Gun.
Plus Kaido fought the scabbards, got hit by Law, Killer, and Zoro, and fought Yamato in between his matches with Luffy. And we know carrying the island was using his energy, because as he got tired from fighting, the clouds got weaker.
Luffy is not stronger than Kaido currently. Especially if Kaido isn’t carrying an ISLAND and fighting like 10 other people.
Heck no. Kaido was going against a somewhat fully healed awakened Luffy while he was still injured from his previous fight with Luffy and all those other characters and was still giving him a run for his money. People tend to forget, zoan awakenings gives characters much better physical capabilities and gives them much faster healing.
Explain to me how Luffy died with heavy injuries and yet when he awakened, he was perfectly fine like nothing happened? That's the benefit of a zoan awakening. Crocodile mentioned this in Impel Down. And NO! Luffy having a time limit isn't the same as him having faster healing, that's just a side effect.
Kaido is still stronger than current Luffy. If Luffy decides to use his awakening from the get go if they had a pure 1v1, Kaido is tanking everything Luffy throws at him and if he can't finish him time, that time limit is going to hit him like a truck and leave him vulnerable. He better be lucky Kaido fell from those heavy injuries cuz Kaido would've likely finished Luffy off the first time Luffy's time limit hit him.
@Nnnnnnnnnnnnnmmmmm Are we (by we I mean just you) forgetting the entire plot of him having to escape the mirror world to take a breath to regain his haki?
he did it 1(!!!) time. at the very beginning of the battle. Not anymore.
It was still a break nonetheless. And you could say for Katakuri, but that man wasn't really tired till he really started getting pushed back.
And now for the points
1-none of this happened. Kaido has never really defeated Luffy once. It was always because of circumstances playing against Luffy.
2-an attempt to implicate that kaido was fighting with someone there is complete nonsense, because Luffy fought with ulti, page 1, yamato, numbers, used 4 gear repeatedly draining him, was beaten by apoo, and besides that fought with a bunch of other opponents. Do you want to try to prove that he spent less effort on them than Kaido did on his opponents?
+ killer, Zoro, Lo and Kid hit him exactly 3 times each. of the hundreds that Luffy inflicted, despite the fact that Zoro's strongest attack did not even knock Kaido down, which base Luffy did without problems.
no, we do not know. The fact that clouds are getting weaker does not mean that they are wasting energy. This is an indicator of kaido's endurance. Yamato said that in order for Momonosuke to move the island, its clouds must be stronger than kaido's. And look at Momo's clouds. they are much bigger. And he was fine.
3-My mother woman, how did you know that Luffy was completely healed? he just reborn, but the exhaustion didn't go away. Luffy just put a 5-gear boost on his super depleted base.
He wasn't completely fine. he was still all wounded, and he lasted in 5 gear for the first time for how many 30 seconds? despite the fact that he has a limit of 10 minutes when he is at full strength.
4-If Luffy goes to wake up from the very beginning, then Kaido goes to sleep in a minute. the man coughed blood from the blows of the base luffy, and the 5th gear is MUCH stronger. The only thing that saved Kaido was that Luffy was in no hurry to attack him and tried his new powers while Kaido was going full blast.
The problem is that Luffy doesn't even need to wake up. He's in the base with no time limit, which was an advantage Kaido would beat him for an hour. Kaido will be dead tired in that hour. and Luffy, if he doesn't use 4 gear, doesn't.
1. Kaido literally knocking out Luffy during their first fight, Kaido winning against Luffy during their rematch (when Luffy got confident after getting advanced conquerors haki with Kaido even stating he got overconfident, Kaido beating Luffy again after he came back (yes CP0 distracted Luffy, but Kaido went onto battling an awakened Luffy so this means Kaido would've won even without the interference)
2. None of these people really did much too Luffy, even Yamato. And gear 4 doesn't do much too Luffy, it just makes him tired for 10 minutes and makes him unable to use haki for those 10 minutes. He's always perfectly fine after that time limit is up. The damage Luffy took before he faced off against Kaido compared to the damage Kaido took when he fought the supernovas is massively different. Kaido's damage is far worse since he was being damaged internally and externally by much stronger opponents. He was fighting much stronger opponents than anybody Luffy faced off against before hand (you can't sit here and say Page One, Ulti, the Numbers, etc etc are all stronger than Law, Kid, Zoro, Killer, and Yamato).
Momo was not fine. Man was tired after finally getting those clouds to work the way he wanted them to. I will agree that Kaido becoming weak wasn't because of him using his clouds for too much, but don't forget he still took massive damage before hand and rarely got many breaks compared to Luffy who had a whole break and a meal to regain some of his energy to fight again.
4. He coughed blood, but Luffy isn't just finna use base to fight someone like Kaido. We've literally seen him use his awakening after Kizaru beat him in his Snakeman form, and Kaido is a whole league above Kizaru.
1 is a ring out, not a fair win. Kaido fought the awakened Luffy solely because Luffy allowed him to. not a single normal attack. If Luffy had fought seriously from the beginning, it would have been beating babies.
2-I'm telling you, you can't prove that Kaido spent more effort than Luffy. apoo knocked him out, for example.
opening the dressrosa. we see that using 4 Gear spends too much haki.
simple maintenance, not to mention combat. that's why he can't use haki for 10 minutes-it just runs out and he needs to recover at least some.
in a fight with a cracker, he spent so much energy in 1 attack that after a few minutes he became hungry again from the bun state, so much energy is consumed by 4 gear. and he used it at least twice.
Kaido did not fight with Lo, Zoro, kid and killer. Yamato for kaido is like ulti for Luffy. She can give a fight, but she won't spend much energy. 95% of the work was done by Luffy.
3. Momo is emotionally tired because of too stressful a situation. After it was over, he was completely fine. + this can be easily explained by the fact that he did not adapt.
in what sense? After Kaido filled up the scabbard, he rested for about half an hour while Luffy, Lo, kid, killer and Zoro made their way through the crowds of enemies to him.
4-no, not higher. Why is that all of a sudden? Kaido fought on equal terms with the basic luffy, while Kizaru one shot 4 gear, without straining at all. After that, Kizaru pushed 5 gears to the limit without even fighting Luffy, just ignoring him. 5 gear in FULL force, not the pathetic stubs that were in the battle with kaido. What did Kaido show to at least match Kizaru? after all that 5 gear has done, he is absolutely safe and sound. There's a couple of scratches and that's it. Where is the damage?
Kaido disappeared from the plot with 1 punch.
@Nnnnnnnnnnnnnmmmmm And this is where I stop debating, cause it seems like you basically skipped over some of my plot points?
No...
What do you think?
