Marineford Whitebeard got his ass beat by Akainu, it isn’t gonna be that much different with Garp

Pretty sure you got that the other way around, Akainu literally only got two hits on WB (one of them was shown in the scan) while WB was landing so many attacks on him

Melting his brain did nothing to WB while a sword stab from Shiryu got Garp weakened massively.

The only reason this is extreme diff for WB is bc hes sick, thats all. If he were healthy this would've been mid diff on WB's side.

Akainu ended that fight bleeding a bit.

Whitebeard was missing most of his organs.

The only reason Whitebeard could fight that hard is because he was planning to die there anyway

I would say they are equal as long as WB does not have a heart attack in the middle of the fight.

@Seekerbro Think you got that the other way around. Everything Whitebeard did to Akainu didn't even do much no matter how many hits he received. That's the equivalent to Luffy vs Katakuri. Yeah Luffy was getting his ahh beat for majority of the fight, but once Luffy started getting some hits in, it was just a matter of time before Katakuri gave in since his endurance isn't all that great. Akainu took half of Whitebeard's face and did some massive internal damage which is much worse than what Whitebeard did to Akainu being real.

If Sengoku didn't hold Garp down, I believe he would've killed Akainu. Akainu was toe-to-toe with WB and despite to popular belief WB did not really defeat him as even when he gave him multiple direct quake blows the dude was still able to keep trucking and considering Akainu is at least relative in power to Kuzan, I would say this battle would've ended in either a tie or high-diff win for Garp.
