How has Shanks surpassed Roger?

@TheLegand27S The Kaido you referred to was a Kaido that wasn't even in his prime yet so why are we using a Kaido that's not in his prime? That's like putting kid Shanks against current Luffy. With all due respect but a fight between kid Shanks and current Luffy isn't all that fair since we don't know how powerful Shanks was when he was a kid. He was likely admiral caliber at the time but he was def nowhere near the strength he's at now.

Kizaru was confident he could fight both Kaido and Big Mom, that doesn't say he would have won so never use this again please? Unless you have actual proof Kizaru by himself can actually fight both Kaido and Big Mom without any help and come out as the winner, you can't be using this in your argument.

Yamato > Kid lets be real. Kid by himself would have a very hard time fighting against someone like Yamato in a PURE 1v1. Yamato by himself was capable of fighting pretty well against Kaido. Kid at this point in time isn't capable of doing that. He got one shot by Shanks for goodness sake. And Big Mom wasn't even using advanced conquerors and advanced armament against Kid and Law when these two were fighting her, so he's def not capable of fighting someone like Yamato who can square up against Kaido.

I'm not even going to reply to that last one. Two Yonko (Whitebeard and Kaido by the way) being afraid of Shanks. One Yonko in his prime was capable of fighting equally against Roger while the other one isn't afraid to square up with anybody that's stronger than him or on par with him.

And oden was using busoshoku haki so him getting one shot still stands

How much damage you can take on your arm is how easy it is to hurt you on your arm.

If you cant take a gun shooting you, its easy to hurt you with a gun
