That WB statement is a hyperbole. He doesn’t have a single feat that gets him close to planetary
Second, OP world is nowhere near the size of a sun. It’s planetary+ to large planetary at best
It is very literally not hyperbole. Whitebeard can destroy the world.
And yes, the One Piece Earth is measured at 450k km radius at the equator, calced by the size of Alabasta on a map. The sun's radius is around 690k km, making the One Piece Earth 65% the size of the Sun.
No he cannot? There’s not a single feat in the series that is even CLOSE to destroying the planet. So unless you give me a feat, then it’ll be nothing but hyperbolic statements. Simple as that
Can I see the calc?
Not rn, the site says insecure on the wifi I'm on at the moment.
Also, no feats need to be provided for a statement to be true. Whitebeard is never seen attempting to destroy the planet, because he doesn't want to.
Doesn’t matter if he’s holding back or not. If there isn’t a feat, then we can’t assume he can destroy a planet.
Because I can easily argue that the author’s intent is just to simply use a hyperbole to exaggerate WB’s devastating powers. And trust me, hyperboles are extremely common throughout works of fiction so don’t be surprised when someone claims a statement to by hyperbolic.
it was never implied to be hyperbole, not even slightly.
Whitebeard can destroy the OP Earth.
Yes it was? If Oda really wanted to, he would’ve made WB do way more than just creating tsunamis and earthquakes.
His best onscreen feats couldn’t even destroy town sized islands. Name me one good feat that gets him above island level. If there isn’t a feat, it’s hyperbole. Simple as that.
It isn't, if Oda says that WB can destroy the world, then he can.
…did you not read my arguments above? Just because Oda says something, that doesn’t mean it’s 100% real or true. And why is that? Because let me introduce you to a thing called “hyperboles” and “metaphors”. These literary devices are extremely common throughout works of fiction and is used by a lot by authors.
^ So that’s what you should be attacking above instead of just saying “oh b-but the author said he can destroy a planet so that means he can actually destroy a planet”. Attack my points on how it’s not a metaphor and that Oda 100% means it because my reasoning for it to be a metaphor is that the feats WB has shown us isn’t even 1% close to destroying a planet.
