So I got a pack of One Piece cards as a gift from my dad (I normally collect Pokémon cards with him), and I pulled this beautiful Hiyori. According to TCGplayer, it's worth about 39 dollars, but does it being in Japanese to affect the worth? Im just wondering because it usually does in Pokémon cards.
Not this card they do have the same serial but different design and price,
this one is about $11 - $17, I would recommend to sell it on auction event so the fan will bid higher than market prices or you can exchange with your favourite character usually as long as the tier is the same (SR, U, SEC) they are okay to exchange it.
There just a few special edition card that only published in japanese version,
For overseas fans they prefer english version but there are many version not available In english so it depends. Keep your eyes on the jackpot TCG card like Oda Signed, Anniversary Card, Championship Card or Alt-Art (Manga Rare) card.
There only one version of signed card which is on luffy, there are no Robin or Sanji Manga Rare in fact I rarely seen Robin Card above Uncommon Card so if you see those are probably fakes
