Battle takes place at Arabasta (since it's the biggest island in the series).

Me and my brother had a debate about this. He said in his opinion, prime Whitebeard's team would win. But me personally, I got Kaido's team. Shanks with his future sight killing could stop Katakuri from predicting the future and making advanced moves while he himself can also see into the future.

Kaido as well can also see into the future and even bypassed Luffy's own future sight in his full dragon form and evaded all of Luffy's attacks in the process and caught him. Blackbeard (though the weakest here imo) with no advanced haki feats yet, has a devil fruit that can disable others if he grabs hold of them and a powerful Gura Gura fruit as well to bypass and deal heavy damage.

Kaido himself would likely last the longest in battle other than prime Whitebeard, so me personally, it comes down to these two teams. But I could see either team winning depending on the situation considering Roger while sick was capable of fighting Whitebeard for 3 days.

Oh and in this scenario to make the fight more even, I gave Katakrui all advanced forms of haki (basically I gave him advanced armament and advanced conquerors plus his future sight). Realistically, he should be admiral caliber with every form of advanced haki (near Fujitora/Greenbull level).

All I will say is that Kaido died by Magma and there's only one team that has the Magma man.

Besides, Katakuri is nowhere near the level of either WB, Linlin or Sakazuki. Sakazuki's team is also the only one with 3 Top Tiers, Teach might be close but I doubt he's on their level for now.
