That’s from chapter 594(for those wondering). @Httpedrokkk thats only while touching. Unless BB can hold Marco in place throughout their fight. Once he let’s go Marco is back to regenerating again.
Teach low diff Ace. Ace was the second commander of WB and Marco the first that’s mean their lvl difference Is not that high.
Teach high-mid diff
He didn't low diff him. BB and Ace were relative though BB eventually won mainly due to Ace not knowing the power of the Dark-Dark fruit while BB knew Ace's power. Burgess even says that Ace put up a hell of a fight.
@Sean 175 Teach has the power to pull Marco like he did to Ace.
@Liam667 Teach didn't low diff Ace. He got afraid of losing the battle when Ace used his final attack, which means they're on similar level. Also, Marco is WB right-hand and spent almost his whole life at WB's crew, which means he presumably knows Advanced Haki and is a master at his DF usage, while Ace was good at using his DF but relied too much on it.
@Httpedrokkk Only if Marco gives him the chance to use it and even if he does have time to,the difference in distance might still give Marco enough time to attack Teach to keep from getting grabbed.
Marco didn't show to be a long-range fighter. He'd have to approach Teach to fight him. Also, his flames doesn't burn like Ace's, though he can use them offensively. Marco's main way to win is by beating Teach up with Haki, which Teach probably knows and would prevent this by using his DF powers in a larger scale.
He mostly sticks to close range fighting, but he showed in his 2v1 fight with the All-stars(chapter 1006)he could attack from a distance with bluebird and phoenix brand. It also seems they can produce shockwaves with said flames despite them not burning.
Marco the pineapple
@Sean 175 Yeah he can attack from distance but those attacks are much weaker than his close-range fighting skills. He couldn't beat Teach with just this.
@Httpedrokkk I thought they had about the same level of damage, hard to tell though since they were used against foes with great resilience and durability. I agree,I’m just pointing out he’s got a lot of tools under his belt that could help in both close and long range.
What do you think?
