Gods Knights are World Nobles

The Blackbeard Pirates may be bad guys who do bad things but at least they don’t try to justify their acts or make themselves sound right and just. They know they are bad people and don’t care what the world thinks of them. The World Nobles literally try to manipulate public perception so they appealing and ever heinous and selfish act they commit even those they do on a whim they claim to be a just and divine act. The World Nobles are hedonistic, vain, self entitled, arrogant madmen with God Complexes. The Blackbeard Pirates are thoroughly evil pirates who are hell bent on taking over the world and don’t try to hide it

There’s also the fact that World Nobles are expected to behave as cruelly towards lesser people as possible and standing up for those lesser people is considered a sinful act punishable by death. While none of Blackbeard’s crew are noble or merciful they seem to be free do whatever they want so long as it doesn’t interfere with what the crew is planning. Blackbeard doesn’t care how his men act just so long as they don’t screw up the plan and he even commends them if they manage to salvage a partial win or discover something on their own that can benefit the crew
