Arabasta Arc

We all know that Crocodile only lost to Luffy to follow the plot, as he is Low Admiral Level and that Luffy was barely at Paradise Level. However, even if we suppose that he was actually weaker than Luffy at that time, he could've been succesful on his Coup d'État, if he had allied himself with Doflamingo. In fact, they'd become the kings of the Underworld together. Just imagine two great nations such as Arabasta and Dressrosa having Warlords as their kings, one of them even having Nico Robin.

By allying himself with Doflamingo, Crocodile would get the following benefits:

• Doflamingo's subordinates to help him (i.e. Bellamy).

• Caesar's technology.

This, along with considering that Crocodile was actually strong enough to defeat the Straw Hats at that time, would make him one of the most powerful people in Grand Line.

4.3/10 Reverse Mountain (Short, and it was pretty boring and useless and felt like a filler arc. the only good thing that came from this arc was introducing VIVI, SIKE ViVi is useless and doesn't do shit.)

7.8/10 Whiskey Peak (It was extremely entertaining, but that's about it. The main problem is its really short and Mr 5 barely showed anything that made him look like a threat.)

6.5/10 Little Garden Yeah.................This one was a little hard to get through. No good fights, The giants felt a little overused but atleast we good really great action scenes and a cool adventure theme to it. and it was pretty funny to me also.

6.4/10 Drum Island Bad villain, Bad side characters, REALLY REALLY REALLY Dragged out, it was so boring I decided to read it instead of watching it. but chopper vs chessmarimo carried this arc really hard, and Dalton and had a really cool devil fruit I guess.

10/10 Alabasta No questions asked, Gave us the first NAMI fight, gave us the first one piece fight with good choreography(Zoro vs Mr 1), Showed us the power of baroque works, gave us Luffy vs crocodile, This arc is just a 10/10 NO DISCUSSION

Trying to get out of art block

Is it just me or does anybody else HATE the Arabasta Arc? Like I just think its so long and honestly, I really don't like Princess Vivi.

i got bored so ive been drawing some manga panels while taking a break from reading for now 🤒 i still have to do lineart and color while filling out the page tho

I've been thinking, and recently, since I've been keeping up with the manga, I've realized that I'm forgetting more and more characters that were kinda big in their arcs. I hardly remember anything about Mr. 7, Miss monday, Half of the Officer agents, Butchie, Kuroobi, Gin, Gen, Axe-hand Morgan even, all of those are like on the edge of my memory. Here one moment, and gone the next.

I wonder, and I have no idea, sooooo, maybr like a helper for every role... I don't know...

I have a felling it will be Vivi or Yamato (maybe I am wrong )

Okay everybody, for all you veteran fans of One Piece, and for those have read or watched past Alabasta/Arabasta, let’s go all the way back to Alabasta/Arabasta.

So, Vivi joined Baroque Works for her own safety, along with the Igaram (but Igaram is aside the plot hole point). This inquiry is pretty simple; how did Crocodile not recognize Vivi? Sure, she did fix her hair, sort of changed her looks.

But, really?

You can easily tell a person from their looks, and I mean more physical looks. And besides, Vivi has blue hair, and so does ‘Ms. Wednesday’.

So, my fellow comrades, all I ask from you is to try and provide an answer for this plot hole.

Bounty Hunters were a big part of One Piece before the time skip, specially during Arabasta. Unfortunately, Oda threw them aside, It's crazy that the most powerful canon Bounty Hunter we've seen is probably Jean Ango (who was one shotted by Chinjao).

Making Bounty Hunters weak makes bounties useless. It seems that the only reason for high bounties is "shock value" since nobody will ever collect them.

All these islands had historical significance well apart from dressrosa I might of missed something in that arc and Luffy and the strawhats liberated them and there are all kinda anti wg given will they claim to be luffys territory

Because this could be the catalyst dragon was looking for we don't know exactly how much territory he has but it could be the tipping point that over stretches the wg influence?

I've spoken before about Morgan's newspaper and the influence it had on the inhabitants of the islands and the information war in dressrosa made fujitora question the wgs real motives.

If Morgan's started telling the truth about the wg could we start seeing the start of the big end game war coming together?
