I would bring our attention on mother caramel's devil fruit the soru soru no mi and how LinLin came to possess it so my theory is that Big mom actually ate her whilst big mom was eating her food back then. So this would introduce a new way of consuming devil fruits now which is cannibalism kinda gruesome but it would help flesh out devil fruits a bit more

I've recently read that BM gained her devil fruit ability after the death of Mother Carmel but she did not eat the fruit for it so it had me wondering. Ok, we all know it's implied that BM actually ate Mother Carmel and the other kids of the sheep house and they didn't actually "disappear" and soon after this she gains the abilities of the Soru Soru no Mi, Mother Carmel's devil fruit. This might imply that if you were to 'eat/consume' a person you could gain their devil fruit ability. Which brings us to Blackbeard, who after putting a curtain over Whitebeard's dead body and doing something (which we don't know), when he came out from under it he was able to use both the powers of two devil fruits. So is it possible that while he was underneath he 'ate/consumed' a part of Whitebeard in some way to gain the abilities of the Gura Gura no Mi? It's kind of a gross/disturbing theory and it's been stated that back in Enies Lobby that a person can't eat two devil fruits or they will explode, but Marco once stated that Blackbeard wasn't 'normal' and that his body was 'odd' which might explain why he didn't explode aft gaining two devil fruit abilities. That's it, I just wanted to put this out somewhere cause it got me thinking about how BM got her power and if Blackbeard maybe heard about it and decided to try it out too.

In the anniversary of Big Mom in the flashback they vanished after she ate the cake. What happened? Did Carmel sell them too? Or are they killed by Linlin?

I know it's an old topic from last arc but i'm bothered about how it was only implied she ate all her family in her origin flashback rather than it being said outright. Even the entry on her page is like "and they disappeared suddenly and she suddenly got the same powers as Mother Caramel", hOw WeIrD o_O. Like i feel like it's something that pointless to be kept vague.

Do you guys think that information will be used against her at some point?
