Mihawk is not the greatest swordsman in the world. It's been 12 years (at least) since his last duel with Shanks, who wasn't afraid of fighting him when they met again on East Blue Saga.

C'mon guys, Shanks' bounty wasn't even 1 billion when he used to duel Mihawk.

The post basically said which character on the list is most overestimated in terms of power and which one is the most underestimated?

Me personally, Shanks is the most overestimated with Sengoku being the most underestimated.

Yes Shanks has the best haki of any yonko we've seen, but his haki is not making him instantly win against other top tiers ppl. With that logic, Shanks > prime Whitebeard because you can't tell me Whitebeard's haki is stronger or more impressive than Shanks's? Than people also like to put Shanks above Kaido bc of him stopping Kaido from going to MF even though he showed up with no injuries whatsoever despite both being equal in power and status.

And Sengoku is def the most underestimated in terms of power. He was the only marine besides Garp that could rival Roger and is heavily underestimated due to not having many feats shown on screen. With that logic, Imu or Shamrock are incredibly weak since we haven't seen much from them? The dude has a mythical zoan devil fruit (possibly awakened) while having every form of haki (likely most, if not all advanced).

Kaido, Shanks, and Mihawk and even Akainu are all equal or past the strength of prime Roger, prime Whitebeard, Xebec, prime Sengoku, etc etc. I'm genuinely not joking, I actually believe this. To many people overestimate the ever living crap out of the old gen and I'm here to stand on business and say that's all true.

Besides MIhawk and Akainu due to being pretty featless, we've seen enough proof Kaido and Shanks are capable of 1v1ing someone like Whitebeard or Roger in their prime and actually being able to beat them. Yeah Kaido lost to Luffy, but Luffy needed a whole team just to help him and had to gain an awakening just to win. Even while nearly healed due to awakened zoan perks of having fast healing, Kaido was still giving trouble to him even while heavily injured. And do I need to explain Shanks?
