A yokai in Japanese folklore is a supernatural creature.
Yokaïs can be human, or animal, or objects, or plants, or even natural or supernatural phenomena.
Now …
In the movie 47 Ronin (Keanu Reeves plays “Kai” - a Ronin; one of the 47) there's a woman at the beginning who attacks Kai’s traveling party in the forest by using a beast that she controls.
But Kai is able to slay the creature before it causes any critical damage.
Shortly after Kai foils the attack, he instinctively notices a white fox which pops out of the bushes looking at him, and then it dashes away.
Now …
Just before the fox dashed away, Kai noticed something unusual about the fox; it had heterochromia (blue and green).
I read the plot of the movie and the white fox is described as a Yokaï.
Okay let's leave the woman and the white fox for now. We will come back later to them because they’re key pieces to my theory.
Let’s go to ancient history.
During the Edo period (sometimes called the Tokugawa period) in Japan, there was a very powerful Samurai called "Date Masamune".
Not only was he a legendary samurai, but he had one eye.
Some archives say he wore an eye patch like a pirate while other pages have a different detail.
But all agree about the one eye.
Also, all the versions of the story called him "Dokuganryu" which translates to "One-eyed dragon of Oushu".
Notice, Masamune is a samurai like Zoro.
Like Zoro, Masamune has one eye.
And just as folklore links Masamune to a dragon, so is Zoro (through Shusui and Enma). Zoro even has an attack called “Dragon Twister”.
Point is, both Masamune and Zoro share an aspect linking them to the idea of a dragon.
Now …
Remember the woman and the white fox above?
If you’ve watched 47 Ronin, you’d see that not only does the woman have heterochromia like the White fox, but she revealed her final form in the final battle of the movie; a dragon.
Yes you heard right; she was a dragon Yokaï.
So what's the intersection?
Well, all 3 characters are linked by:
- region (Japan)
- folklore (Japanese)
- something to do with eyes
- Yokaï creature, dragon.
Using the parallels above, I’m lead to my theory of Zoro's closed eye:
1. Zoro has not lost an eye.
It is my theory that he may have come across someone or something whereby he obtained a similar ability to that woman; summoning Yokaïs.
I also suspect that his closed eye has a different color compared to his right eye.
2. I speculate that upon opening that eye, he would be able to summon a dragon or some other Yokaï through a new attack still to be revealed by Oda.
Oh! One last thing.
In the video game series called ‘Samurai Warriors’, you can unlock a character called “Date Masamune”. He has one with an eye patch. In one of his attacks, the locked eye shines when you summon a dragon.
So don’t blush if in the near future we see Zoro use his locked eye like Masamune in the game.
You heard it here first.
END OF THEORY
Could someone tell me what kings face looks like.if they do not show his face then could you guys tell me if zoro masters enma

Note: This is my first fruit concept, so it might suck (I will!)
Explanation: You can summon swords from across history, but they have to be made from your OWN flesh and blood.
Type: Paramecia
Lets say, I make a sword, the draw back is: I'm making the sword from my flesh, so it's taking away parts of my skin, and putting it into the sword (Don't worry, it'll still look like a normal sword, not a weird flesh sword). It's pretty much gonna make you look like a skeleton with skin. But if the sword breaks or you deactivate it, it goes back into your body, so basically, you get your flesh back.
That's the draw back.
Also if you use haki with it, it makes the sword have more durability (of course), so you won't have to just keep making weak swords.
Abilities: Of course, like everyone else's fruit, you can make your own abilities, but this fruit has basic abilities too!
Skill 1: Invisible Thrust; The user pulls back their sword, then thrusts it forward, creating a fast traveling invisible air wave.
Haki: The same thing, but its clear (like you can almost see it now), and of course it does more damage to the opponent(s), and can hit Logia Users.
Skill 2: Scabbard; The user stands in a stance with their sword in the ground, if they are hit, the sword lets out a golden burst of haki, then the opponent is stunned for a few seconds, in cause of shock.
These are the skills that you have to MASTER before creating your own.
Tell Me What You Think!!
What is up with King's head? Has he been modified by queen? Awesome to see him using his wings.
Fuga definitely giving me nameless samurai vibes from Yamato flashback. Not so sure about the other 2 being the other 2 samurai seeing as how only the nameless one interacted with Yamato personally and Fuga was the only one to follow after her. They clearly have a relationship.
We see Zoro wearing down in his fight due to the effects of the medicine wearing off imo. At 1st I thought Enma was becoming a black blade as Zoro's arm really looked like it was straining. But then saw something about Hiyori song triggering Enma I guess thru Odens spirit or essence. Which would make sense she would know how to trigger it seeing as how it was in her posseion for so long.
So hype for Hiyori to wreck Orochi!!!
What about you guys? What you think about 1032?
So, if Luffy or CP0 were to kill Kaido his devil fruit would respawn, right? What if Uo Uo No mi appears on Nami's Tangerine tree, this would mean Zoro could feed it to either of his swords, Enma, Wado Ichimonji or Sandai Kitetsu as Oda stated.
I have that thought, did Zoro use Conqueror's Haki when he intended to cut the wall with Enma?
So Zoro in wano received a new blade called enma which was able to slash kaido and leave a mark but my question is that does zoro deserve it since he unlike luffy did not even train to get ryou but he was handed a sword to scale him up a bit. And another thing i would prefered if zoro made his own swords famous by turning them into a kokuto/black blade instead of getting a hand out. So let me know what you think
So a lot of people of my people on the internet noticed that enma's proportion don't add up and should be bigger in present day like it was with oden instead of magically shrinking
My guess is that Zoro's final sword trio will be Wado Ichimonji, Enma and
Note: This is just my theory so I'm not saying its going to be true.
