Fish-Men

Give me your best race/species fusion to create the ultimate warrior. You can only mix two races from the One Piece world. Mine is half Giant, half Lunarian.

Is it just me or does the Fish-Men remind anyone of the Innsmouthers from Lovecraft's universe? They have nearly the same biology, the same breeding patterns, same racist supremacist beliefs over humans, and the same abilities. Only they don't worship any of the Great Old Ones like Dagon or Hydra.

Since df are vulnerable to water aquatic animal zones cannot logically exist. But that I feel is part of why Fishman exist. We've seen octopus Fishman which suggests the idea that Fishman don't explicitly need to be a mix of man and fish, and are really just a mix of any aquatic animal and man.

Anyways I think it would be cool for there to be more Fishman that are based on different aquatic life than fish. We could have a blue whale Fishman, that could use its filter feeding mouth like a vacuum in battle, and would naturally be massive with blue whales being the biggest organisms on the planet,a manta ray with its stinger, and an electric eel with high voltage electricity output.

I feel as though Fishman have so much potential for uniqueness, and I hope that they do not become completely irrelevant, another arc with fishman atleast making an appearance could even contribute to jinbei strength developement before we get to laugh tale.

So we all know that fish-men can swim and breathe underwater right. But I was wondering, if a fish-man eats a devil fruit, do they loose both the ability to swim and breathe underwater, or do they just loose the ability to swim?

Of a fishman who are a Sevil fruit falls in water. We know that df are makes you unable to swim. I'm not sure about suffaceting you part. Humans can't breathe underwater but fishmen can. So if a df user fishmen falls to the sea whould he or she just get stuck there? Unable to move or swim but able to breath...
