Five Elders

What if the Island has a soul of its own. Like it accepts the person and rejects the person. It would make sense because look at it this way the world government has the resources to just purely search the new world for Raftel but they haven't. What if that means that Raftel accepts the person who is going to the island. In order for the user to get on they have to have a pure soul. Of course that is just a theory based on the fact that the government hasn't gone yet, but from our knowledge it seems that the only person in the government who could "possibly" read the poneglyphs is Imu or the Goresei. or both. of course the other reason why is that because of the fact that they can't read poneglyphs.

So we all know somehow Blackbeard is the only know person to have had two devil fruits in history (maybe due to the Yami Yami no Mi, or perhaps its Blackbeard himself). So my question is, what if someone who already has a devil fruit and is immortal (say any member of the Gorosei or someone who gets the immortal operation done to them) ate another devil fruit? Would it still kill them or would they posses another devil fruit ability? I've been thinking about this question for a HOT minute now and want to know some of your thoughts?

As you might recall, Ju Peter is the youngest looking member of the 5 elders who serve Imu.

This caused Mr Morj, who ran through a list of previous villain subordinates, to say Ju Peter is the Gorosei who would betray Imu.

However, I think it's possible his apparent youth is an indication that he's probably the most loyal Gorosei. As he's so young, it's possible he loved during Emet's rampage 200 years ago in Marijois. This would make him a staunch enemy of anyone who'd even dare spout their stance against the world nobles.

9. Awakened DF Impel Down Guards. Even tho they were awakened they didn't show any proficiency in their DF's and were just mindless Rampaging beasts

8. Doffy. He was an excellent person to use it but not to the extent of others

7. Kidd, although his awakening proves useful in BM's defeat, wasnt able to use it to its full capability

6. Katakuri. Katakuri makes great use of this awakening, showing great tact, and skill with it.

5. Kaku. The fact that it only took two years to awaken it is awe-inspiring, and he is imposing in using it.

4. Lucci. Lucci uses this powerup to mainly increase his existing fighting style's power and doesn't really use his df to its max

3. Law. Law uses his awaking very strategically and skillfully, along with its newfound versatility and power.

2. Luffy. Luffy uses his awakening to its near utmost potential, taking advantage of its ability to conjure anything from his imagination.

1. Gorosei. They all use their awakenings to their full potential and are very proficient with using them.

So as many of us know, the Five Elders have special powers. One of which is the ability to summon each other via a magic black pentagram circle. Each circle has their own number on it which corresponds to a specific member of the Five Elders. When summoned, they simply rise up from the circle and, as far as we know, they can be summoned from any distance. When the circle forms, black lightning similar to that of Conqueror’s Spirit Haki emanates from them. Topman Warcury, Jaygarcia Saturn, and Marcus Mars are confirmed to have Conqueror’s Spirit Haki; it might be safe to say that Shepherd Ju Peter and Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro has it too. Do you guys think the summoning/teleportation is some kind of extreme advanced Haki, apart of their Devil Fruit powers, or something else?

• Luffy will be captured.

• The Straw Hats will have to escape without him, but decide to leabe Bonney, Vegapunk and Kuma with the giants while they go and rescue their captain.

Significance of this arc

It ties into Sanji & Zoro's reaction to Luffy's near death experience at Loguetown as opposed to their optimism during the battle against the Lead Performers on Onigashima.

It allows Luffy to be "repaid" for helping and rescuing his friends who'd been in similar situations: especially Nami, Nico Robin and Nami.

Expected Plot

Fleet Admiral Sakazuki is eager to eliminate Straw Hat Luffy, whose notoriety has shamed the Marines and pushes Luffy's execution to the earliest point, possibly within the week of his capture.

With the Straw hats unable to rescue him in time, Sakazuki can flex the full power of the Marines by eliminating the recently crowned Emperor of the Sea.

Sakazuki needs this incident in order to clash with Luffy's friends and very beliefs.

• Boa Hancock and Bartolomeo the cannibal are the first to get there and stall the Marines.

• Leo the Tontatta and the remaining Straw Hat fleet arrive to provide Backup, forcing the marines to have to rely on Vice Admirals like Fujitora.

• Soon, Alabasta, Dressrosa and Happosui kingdoms' forces team up to rescue Luffy too.

• The Fishmen warrior royals also join in the fray.

• Sabo and the Revolutionary Army join too. This is the most important time in this incident because it allows Sabo major character development as Luffy's brother while also pitting him against Sakazuki, perhaps Sabo fighting on his powerlessness during Ace's execution.

• Koby and Sword free up Sakazuki.

• The Straw Hats arrive.

The Straw Hats need to arrive because they need to flex their power and decimate the false goodwill the Marines have established: shattering the notion of justice which the One Piece world believes, falsely, equates to eliminating pirates.

This whole incident will be necessary to shift attention away from Vegapunk's revelations and prevent further info-dumping, because it deepens the stakes and allows all of Luffy's friends and good deeds to finally shine in one cathartic release in the end of the old generation of Marines.

Why now is perfect for this incident:

• Blackbeard will distract the Five Elder Planets with Garp as his bargaining chip.

• Shanks is making for the One Piece and might have to deal with the Cross Guild on the way.

• Law and Kid had been taken down by the other two Emperors, so are MIA

• Imu pressures the Five Elders to bring Vivi to her

• Five Elders need to quell the mess Vegapunk's revelations made throughout the world.

Shanks visited the Five Elders and thry gave him audience, where he wanted to discuss a certain pirate.

It's likely Shanks didn't know everything about the Gum gum (Gomu gomu no) devil fruit when he stole from CP9 way back, but now as an Emperor and probably after visiting Elbaf, it's likely he learnt all about Luffy's devil fruit and then went to the Five Elders to discuss it with them.

Is that really what happened? We might find out soon as we're getting to the conclusion.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!

So we saw a lot of powers and abilities of the Five Elders. All of them have Mythical Zoan type Devil Fruits, but it’s been speculated in the fandom that they’re actual demons called Yokai rather than having Mythical Zoan fruits and they all have awakened their powers. In addition to their Yokai/Mythical Zoan powers, the Five Elders can telepathically communicate with each other and they can summon each other through usage of a magic summoning circle. St. Jaygarcia Saturn, the Warrior God of Science and Defense, can transform into a Gyuki. St. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, the Warrior God of Finance, can transform into a Bakutso. St. Marcus Mars, the Warrior God of Environment, can transform into an Itsumade. St. Topman Warcury, the Warrior God of Justice, can transform into a Fengxi. St. Shepherd Ju Peter, the Warrior God of Agriculture, can transform into a sand worm. Warcury has Conqueror’s Spirit Haki and maybe the other four has it as well. The person ranking below the Five Elders is the Commander-in-Chief. The Commander-in-Chief is a World Government official that has authority and power over the Marines, the Cipher Pols, and the Seven Warlords before their disbandment. The Commander-in-Chief can also issue a Buster Call on any island they deem a threat and can give a person the authority to issue a Buster Call. The current Commander-in-Chief is Kong who was also the Fleet Admiral before Sengoku. Since the Five Elders are Yokai or have powerful Mythical Zoan fruits, what special power do you think Commander-in-Chief Kong has? I personally have seen some theories that says he has a Sun Wukong Mythical Zoan fruit (a Sun Wukong is basically a monkey god). If he does have that Devil Fruit power, it would be really interesting to see. We have barely seen Kong in the manga and anime, so it’s difficult to tell what his powers could be. He most likely at the least knows advanced Armament Haki and Observation Haki. Him having a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit would be really cool.

As we know, the World Government was created 800 years ago. After the war against the Great Kingdom, the World Government went to great lengths to hide what happened during the century long conflict. They continue to go to great lengths to hide the true history which includes hiding Joy Boy, Nika, and the name of the Great Kingdom. The World Government hides the true history to prevent uprisings and such things. My question is, why is the World Government continuing to go to great lengths to hide the Void Century? Is knowing the truth really that important? I’m willing to bet that the average citizen in the One Piece world doesn’t care about the Void Century, Joy Boy, the One Piece, or even the world’s history. Most of the time, average citizens only care about their work and being able to provide for themselves and their family. If Imu really is immortal and is from the Void Century and he/she fears Joy Boy that much, it’s possible he/she is projecting their fears onto the Five Elders and thus onto the World Government. The World Government practices slavery and are responsible for the Amber Lead Incident (Law’s backstory), the Ohara Incident, and they cover up numerous terrible crimes, all of which is somewhat widely known. Seeing that the World Government is 800 years old, they probably have committed thousands of atrocities in the world and cover ups are extremely common. All that being said, what else could the World Government possibly be hiding? What could they possibly fear being revealed? Something worse than slavery, the Celestial Dragons having diplomatic immunity, and the World Government basically having the power to blow up any island they deem a threat. I can’t really imagine something worse than slavery and the Celestial Dragons, but maybe some really dark and evil stuff happened during the Void Century. What are your thoughts?
