I wonder, and I have no idea, sooooo, maybr like a helper for every role... I don't know...
Just finished watching it and that actually broke me. I didn't know I'd get this emotional over a pirate ship!!! I thought this was supposed to be silly pirate adventures and now im experiencing heartbreak over the Going Merry.
So I just made it to water 7 (I’ve gotten spoilers for the whole series so I know franky is going to join). Anyways… I knew soon we were going to have to say goodbye to the merry I knew it was going to be in water 7 when franky Joins the crew.. but I’m crying because of the scene where luffy tells Usopp their leaving the merry. I’m having a emotional breakdown.

The Going Merry figurehead in the upcoming live-action show.
I will have nightmares tonight.😅
EDIT: Added the full, better quality image.
Exactly what the headline says. Netflix's official Twitter account recently posted a tease of two visuals for the upcoming live-action OP series.

From the back they look decent, which obviously isn't saying much.😑 Need to see the actors as the characters up front asap.
In any case my pessimistic feelings haven't changed but I wait until the full arrival before I judge.
Any thoughts?
Looking for Live Action updates, I found the Netflix page for the TV series.
Until recently it was empty, but now...
And I found the official Twitter account, this article (and on Twitter) and this image mentioning 2023 as the release date!
In the image above and in the link, you can see the Straw Hat Pirates and Luffy's hat!
Finished the Enies Lobby Arc last night and it was epic, but I shed a few tears when it ended with the Viking funeral for the Going Merry. I even played Leave Her Johnny from Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag after the episode finished.
RIP Going Merry (Ep 17 - Ep 312)
In the list of the Straw Hat Crew/Members, shouldn't the Going Merry also be included in that list, since she has been acknowledged to be a genuine crew member?
In addition, would it be accurate to say that the Going Merry is the first member to have died?
Hello! I haven’t been on the wiki for a while now and I got bored and came up with a discussion.
Do you think the straw hats would get another ship after the sunny? tbh I’m still mourning Merry’s death and the sunny is great and all but it’s not Merry. Back to my point do you think sunny will also die and the strawhats would get a new ship? And if they do what would you like to be a part of it? A weapon a special engine wings? everything you can think of.
I largely made this poll because i'm bored of all these best/strongest character polls, especially including characters who's strength is largely unseen and only alluded to in the series. Looking at you Shanks fans
10. Perfume Yuda, Kuja Pirates, I like the chinese aesthetic, bonus points for paddles, plus being drawn by serpents adds to the regality of being the pirate empresses ship
9. Raft , Blackbeard Pirates. Not cool or beautiful in any sense but the sheer balls to travel the grandline on a raft gets it on my list
8. Arc Maxim, Enel. Electric powered space ship and the only Space faring ship in the series. How the hell did Enel even design this. Physics defying, and a big ol' golden face on the front, Majorly ugly but flying ships are pretty cool in my eyes
7. Queen Mama Chanter, Big Mom Pirates. again a horrific looking ship, but being apparently sentient possessing a soul from Big Mom's power, and floating around chanting "Ship" is so ridiculous i want it on this list
6. Germa Kingdom, Germa 66. A fully mobile, combining ship conglomeration of Snails, what a weird and wonderful idea.
5. Thousand Sunny, Straw Hat Pirates. Probably an unpopular position on this list but it's got more going for it in features then in looks in my opinion. Cola powered ship that can rocket away, contain smaller vessels for the crew and fire a F*cking laser points. Very cool ship
4. Nostra Castello, Firetank Pirates. MOTHER HUGGIN TANK TRACKS.
3. Thriller Bark, Thriller Bark Pirates, Who makes and island sized ship. that's mad. The Gothic Castlevania old style horror movie vibes, put this high on my list, why is it round though?
2. Island Ship, Golden Lion Pirates, Flying ships are just cool and it's got one of the best figure heads movie budget money can buy. I like the trees but the paddles underneath seem pointless
1. Zoro x Robin, Straw Hat Pirates.
One of the top ships in the series, the Pirate Hunter and Demon Child have had a certain tension between them since day one. Upon Nico Robin's arrival on the ship, Zoro immediately didn't trust her, signaling to everyone a tiny bit of a love-hate angle. During Sky Island, there was this memorable scene of Zoro protecting Robin. Even during Ennies Lobby, Zoro only went into Asura mode, when Kaku mentioned Nico Robin. There are tiny bits of cute interactions between the two, creating some of the most consistent build up of any romance within the series.
The last one was a joke, the description was copy pasted from a different tier list
ACTUAL 1. Going Merry, Straw Hat Pirates, the only ship with an actual arc, big damn hero, the obvious choice for number 1, not stupidly huge, survived loads of bullshit and still turned up to save it's crew. Big Damn Hero. saddest death in the series. You've watched the series you know i'm right
When I saw the ship appear to aid the Straw Hats in their escape I cried with joy. And hearing it speak in a way, made me even more happy. It hit me so hard in the feels that it still makes me cry what I think about it. Did it do the same to you?
Am I the only one that wants to see a ship battle in one piece that takes place on water like in the first ep of vinland saga or like assassins creed rouge. Like i want to see Ussop shine and take down one of big moms ships or something. Because when i first got into one piece and my friend told me it was a show about pirates that's what i was thinking
I think the closest we've been to that is when the crew was leaving water 7, im pretty sure and garp was throwing cannon balls at the thousand sunny. maybe somthing like this might've happened in filler but i don't watch filler or i forgeting something
