I’ve come up with this theory that perhaps someone could coat the ground and surrounding landscape or perhaps trees and other flora in armament haki. This stems from my realisation that Saturn uses a normal wooden cane in his attacks, in fact, many users of weapons in one piece are simply using refined metals, which so too, are essentially just part of a landscape, at one point or another in its creation process, Enma, is just a sword made out of steel, Kaido’s mace Hassaikai, is just a slab of metal, shaped in a lethal way, Mad Munk Urouge uses an enormous pillar made of either stone or metal to slam into his opponents, which he can apply Haki to.
Taking this into account, if a user of Haki considered the land around them to be a weapon or even some kind of extension to their body, could they apply armament haki to the ground and then attack opponents using Emission, effectively trapping them and dealing damage from below, this tactic could be invaluable in combat for characters like Luffy, who don’t have (or necessarily need) a weapon, but could use this as some kind of impressive technique to change the tide of battle. Luffy could shape the world however he wants and then emit haki from that shape, creating a very powerful attack from the emission. This technique could even be used by characters like Zoro and Sanji to knock down opponents as they fight.
Im very tired at this point, goodnight.
Tell me if you think this can or can’t happen in the comments, I’m trying to crack the science of haki.
