Jesus Burgess

Now we’ve already seen how easily Sabo mopped the floor with Burgess before back at Dressrosa. After he & the Blackbeard Pirates found & destroyed Baltigo, the Revolutionary Army’s original headquarters, he ate a Devil fruit that enhanced his already immense strength. Stronger enough to lift a mountain & greatly tossed it from afar. If the Pirates ever had a run in with the army again, if Burgess would finally get his rematch on Sabo, how y’all think it will turn out that time?

Keep it a buck I was spoiled as soon as it dropped. Anyways, it's gear fifthing time!!!! Oda took a page from Kishimoto's book and made Luffy Pirate Jesus. He still drippy tho. I just finished 1044 and had to report Pirate Jesus. The Itch Itch Fruit, Model: Crotch is better. Up there w the Perv-Perv Fruit too.

But fr tho, Luffy's god horrible fruit, a D tier fruit based on pure fruit stats, is the best fruit in the series?!?!?!?! See, if it was like he looked like joyboy on some reincarnation sh but didn't inherit none of da abilities, just similar ones, then yea, but reclassification of abilities almost never hits. OFA got reclassified and everybody hated how OP Deku got. Also reclassified Naruto's entire career and everybody definitely hated that. Nb hates Gear 5 tho so we UP! Oda's not the foreshadowing god either lets stop w the "sound effect was nika so..." bs.

Based on this picture it seems Oda is implying Shiryu is the vice captain of the blackbeard pirates but that makes it very confusing cause Jesus Burgess is the Captain of the first ship while Shiryu is Captain of the second ship and Burgess has been with Blackbeard way before Shiryu has.

Did Oda ever explicitly clarify this?!?!?!?
