What if the Island has a soul of its own. Like it accepts the person and rejects the person. It would make sense because look at it this way the world government has the resources to just purely search the new world for Raftel but they haven't. What if that means that Raftel accepts the person who is going to the island. In order for the user to get on they have to have a pure soul. Of course that is just a theory based on the fact that the government hasn't gone yet, but from our knowledge it seems that the only person in the government who could "possibly" read the poneglyphs is Imu or the Goresei. or both. of course the other reason why is that because of the fact that they can't read poneglyphs.

So after a couple of days of thinking about this I came to the conclusion of what will happen in the final arc. So Y'know how devil fruit users aren't allowed to be on the island because they get sick. Well I think that Luffy won't get sick because of the Hito Hito no Mi (Model: Nika) and how it's basically the islands fruit. I think that Oda is teeing this up for the original 5 to be on the island (Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Ussop, and Sanji) because Brook, Robin, and Chopper are going to be sick if it goes in tradition for most devil fruit users. But I believe that Franky, and Jinbei would stay back for them. However I have a feeling that somehow Blackbeard will break the system. But anyways I think that Oda is going to make the original 5 straw hats be at Raftel.

I had an epiphany like Paul on the road to Damascus while thinking about the last chapter and why Laugh Tale is called that... Based on what Vegapunk said in his post-death speech, Joy Boy fought a war against the 19 countries of the world government because of their different ideologies; but this happened after he left his "treasure" since he died in that war. In my opinion, Joy Boy feared or even knew that he wouldn't make it, and that's why he decided to pass down the 3 ancient weapons to posterity, precisely to help them defeat the world government and complete his will.
So, what is at Laugh Tale? And why did Roger laugh when he saw the One Piece? And why did none of the crew decide to take possession of it? Simple, because they couldn't.
As of now, we only know that the One Piece is an enormous treasure left by Joy Boy and that those who find it learn the truth about the void century... so we can hypothesize that the One Piece, or a part of it, is something that tells a story, like a Poneglyph... "One Piece" could mean what this priceless treasure is, "A Piece", one single thing, the One Piece is a treasure composed of a single object, a Poneglyph... but not just any Poneglyph, but the most important one of all where Joy Boy wrote: his story, his will (which will be known as the will of the D) and how and why to fulfill it.
The One Piece is nothing more than a way for Joy Boy to be sure that sooner or later he would win against the world government; but not someone else, it would be him! or rather, his reincarnation... In fact, when Luffy becomes Nika, all of Joy Boy's old companions (Zunisha, Emeth) recognize him as such; so, just like "Poseidon" was reincarnated in Shirahoshi... Joy Boy was reincarnated in Luffy.
So the One Piece can only be for one person: Joy Boy, in this case Luffy; because it contains the necessary information to defeat the world government and become the new emperor of the world. But why is it only for Luffy? Because the One Piece is a "message" that Joy Boy left for himself, and in this case, it refers to Luffy since he is the only one who can become Nika.
One must "be" Joy Boy to take possession of or use the One Piece, anyone else who finds it will have made a pointless journey and that is precisely why Roger laughed, because after Oden read the Poneglyph to him, he realized that it wasn't meant for him, because he wasn't Joy Boy, and thus his journey was in vain.
So I think there won't be any problem if someone reaches the One Piece before Luffy because they won't be able to do anything with it; but it will only be when Luffy finds it, that after learning everything, his devil fruit or the will of Joy Boy residing in him will fully awaken, granting him greater strength and a new objective. Who knows, maybe the fruit will even make him relive or see some of Joy Boy's memories?
Anyway, this is my theory, let me know what you think.

We know that the WG is interested in Raftel, or keeping people away from it at least…
We know a lot of pirates are interested in Raftel, duh!
The rev army seem to know a bit about Raftel, just Kuma and Sabo is getting tied into it a bit…
My Theory is that there will be big grand battle in Raftel and the way the SH win is by acquiring the Imu killing button and then stopping other eeeeeevil pirate crews, and then having worked together with the marines there may be an alliance or a retreat.
Stampede isn't canon, I get it. But it did introduce a canon element that is the actual name of the final island in the Grand Line being Laugh Tale.
So, why did Roger just not destroy the eternal pose to Laugh Tale instead of throwing it into the sea where anyone could find it?
The most simplest answer is that the writers needed a plot point for the movie. The second is that they didn't think about it. In Universe, you could even say that Roger didn't even think about it at the time.
Another reason is that maybe Roger just wanted to erase the temptation of returning to Laugh Tale for himself and his crew, and didn't really care about how anyone else chooses to get there.
Can you think of other reasons? This is just for fun btw.

One ongoing and most popular theory is that the devil fruit eaters can not reach the Laughtale because we saw Toki and Buggy get sick. That is totally possible but it does not apply to the Straw Hats.
As the treasure or the Laughtale existed because Joyboy left something on it. Luffy is naturally not the one who would be sick on his journey.
Robin belongs to the Ohara clan, the archaeologists so it is impossible for the people from that land to be restricted in a place where all answers of history are.
Chopper, despite eating the devil fruit is a reindeer, hence the theory that he won't get sick as he is an animal who ate the devil fruit.
Brook naturally is not going to be sick because he is not someone who can get sick I mean I doubt a skeleton would have high fever (That was how Toki and Buggy got sick)
I'll continue my thoughts on other theories later..
I think that Roger was paid to by the marines to falsificate his illness and death and tell everyone about onepiece, but really it doesnt exist. It was just a marine trick do destroy all the pirates - everyone will go to laugh tale, and only the strongest pirate will survive. And then at the last island there will be some superstrong marine (or maybe Imu/Seadevil himself) to kill or imprison the strongest pirate. And I think that at laugh tale Luffy will be imprisoned in impeldown again.
I saw on a video once that people with devil fruits cant go to laughtale which is the place they think the one piece is at. So what if Luffy cant go to the island to get the one piece so he asks Zoro to get it for him but think about it Zoro has been the most loyal person in the strawhat crew, what if Zoro’s loyalty gets tested with the one piece like for example, should he follow his captain or get the treasure for himself, or what if the one piece can bring back people from the dead or something but to summarize this theory Luffy Can’t go to laughtale to get the one piece so he asks Zoro to get it but what if Zoro betrays luffy. In my opinion this would be the BIGGEST plot twist EVER. What are your thoughts on this?

Oda obviously loves his memes and trolls, with Buggy becoming one of the Yonko but obviously there's a good reason for it in spite of his weak battle prowess. This revelation has led to theories that Buggy will find the One Piece first for the joke or everyone will find the One Piece at relatively the same time, and there will be a war for the true King of the Pirates.
Personally, I love the joke but I would hate if the StrawHats didn't find the One Piece first just cuz I think it's a race and it's a matter of finding it and not having it. For example, if the StrawHats found the One Piece and came to LogueTown and Blackbeard killed all of them and took the treasure, it wouldn't make him the real King of the Pirates cuz he jus defeated them and never went to LaughTale.
I don't mind if other ppl get there right after the StrawHats but I'd hate for anyone to get there before them. What you guys think?

I'm a new obsessed fan of one piece, just starting to watch the anime this year and just finished Zou Arc, and something bothered me.
As we see in the map of One piece, laugh tale is in the end of the Grand line right, so it's the nearest island to the other side of the Red Line.
What if when Luffy got there, the island is already destroyed by the world government? as we see in Tequila Wolf, they're already so capable of creating great infrastructure, what if all this time, they've secretly created a land path through the middle of red line, reached laugh tale through there and just destroy it? it's the fastest path to Laugh Tale after all, rather than circling the world through the whole grand line.
The only thing waiting the straw hats are burned down island that was once Laugh Tale.
I mean, if i was Imu, that's what i'd do i suppose.

So far as the story goes on this will be incredible I mean come on dudes Luffy will become the pirate king in no time at all ( even though they still need the last road ponyglyph but still) sooner or later we have this laugh tale and hoping we get to see what the one piece really is.

We know he is getting closer to Laughtale and only has a couple of islands left, but when he becomes the pirate king that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s “done” right?
