And I have a question about the first chapter (Luffy flashback):

I remember that I heard something that the reason that Shanks lost his hand in the first chapter was something that the editor of One Piece at the time suggested. Is there any source for that?

I'm writting an One Piece-based fanfiction which is basically an Alternative Universe. I won't post it here as this would go against the guidelines, but I'd like to make posts that would help me on the plot such as "What If" posts, for example. The story includes movies and filler arcs as canon arcs, changing characters' powers, etc.

I read the guidelines and they say that fanfiction isn't allowed, but I won't post the fanfiction itself. It'd help me a lot to have different opinions about the events of my story.

Im having trouble getting into One Piece, I was wondering if I should read the manga instead to catch up to the most recent 4 seasons because watching the 1st season feels kind of boring and weird. It's not for me but I want to watch the most recent episodes with an understanding on the story. I'm on s1 e13 and was wondering if I should keep watching or read the manga until the most recent 4 seasons

One piece volume 105 involves the making of the new empowers addressing the incidents at Amazon Lily and whole cake island with the attempted theft of Hancocks fruit and the kidnapping of pudding and the start of the egghead arc and end of wano

Is it good to start manga while at dressrosa on the anime-

I'm on episode 170 or something in the anime and I feel like the pacing is just too slow like it feels like an important thing appears every 3 episodes. I's just ne w reading the manga, im in chapter 10 and I already love it! but I'm not sure which one because I'm already in episode 170 so imma need your opinions.
