Summit War of Marineford

Did some of the Seven Warlords commit acts that would reasonably constitute treason against the World Government during the Marineford War? Due to the legal definition of treason in my country, I will only be considering acts committed during the war itself, so turning large quantities of Marines to stone during the Amazon Lily arc and on the way to Impel Down will be ignored.

Boa Hancock prevented Pacifistas and Marines from attacking enemy combatant Monkey D. Luffy on numerous occasions. She has also injured and partially petrified some Marine soldiers via indiscriminate attacks that also affected parts of the Whitebeard Pirates if I remember correctly. At one point when Luffy was running up a bridge to the platform Ace was on with Garp standing in front of him, Hancock prevented some Marines from taking aim at Luffy. It’s been a while since I watched the episode so I don’t remember if she simply blocked the Marines from aiming, outright attacked them, or something else. She has also outright destroyed Pacifistas, which were being used as Marine weapons in the war.

If I remember correctly (it’s been an even longer while since I’ve seen that episode and I can’t check right now since my Netflix isn’t working), there’s a scene where Gecko Moria has several Marine soldiers’ shadows in his hand for use in animating zombies. This is occurring in direct sunlight. If someone having lost their shadow from Moria’s ability is exposed to direct sunlight, they begin to burn to death, and Moria should know this. We thus have him commit an act that he should know will result in several Marine deaths.

Blackbeard arrives at Marineford with hostile intentions accompanied by five of the world’s most heinous criminals fresh out of prison (four of which his crew personally freed), effectively invading the Marine HQ. He also contributes further to the damage to Marineford that had been done by Whitebeard, and participated in direct combat against Sengoku.

Jinbe is literally a full-fledged enemy combatant, and his purpose is to assist other enemy combatants in preventing the Marines from achieving their objective of executing Portgas D. Ace.

I've been rewatching One Piece showing it to my mom. We're four episodes away from the Summit War Saga so I ordered this figure of Whitebeard and one of Blackbeard as well for added visual stimulation when we finally get to Marineford. (The Blackbeard figure should arrive in a few weeks...)

These are just all the fights that I'm thinking (mainly hoping) will happen at the end of One Piece. I'm just listing possibilities, and this isn't in any order or anything. (Spoilers for people not caught up yet)

Usopp vs Van Augur: This one is just a no-brainer, the two of them showing once and for all who'll be the true King of Snipers. Not much else needs to be said. (Though if Usopp doesn't get an Elbaf power up then he's doomed)

Koby vs Kuzan: This could be debatable. Because of what happened on Pirate Island with Garp, Koby likely wants to inflict payback. He'll have mastered all of the Six Powers (including an improved Six King Pistol, used to finish off the former Admiral)

Koby vs Akainu: A second possibility. Based on the experience at Marineford.

Zoro vs Mihawk: The most obvious fight here. Zoro pushes his Nine Sword Style and King of Hell Three Sword Style to its limits, while we finally see Mihawk's true power. Zoro doesn't actually kill him though.

Sabo vs Akainu: I wanna leave BB to Luffy, (for now) and Sabo will take on the man who actually killed Ace himself. By now Sabo will have learned Ace's Flame Emperor and mayybe have awakened his fruit, or at least learned more powerful techniques. (also side question if Sabo learned Finger Pistol how bad would it be because of how strong his fingers are already?)

Luffy (& possibly Sabo) vs Blackbeard: We'll all be very excited when this happens. I think Blackbeard may kill Garp in a similar cowardly method as he did Whitebeard, which results in Luffy raging in Gear 5. (I have a theory which I'll post at a later date) Blackbeard retaliates with both of his awakened fruits. (Or the third fruit theory everyone says) Sabo could finish with Akainu early and join the fight, snapping Luffy out of his anger craze. Luffy will use Red Hawk and Red Roc a LOT during this fight. If Sabo does show up then there'll be a cool fire combination attack to finish the job. Hopefully they do actually kill him.

Dragon and/or Shanks vs The Five Elders: This one literally just now came to me. Depending on how it goes on Egghead this could happen. And also Dragon needs to actually do something after 1100 chapters.

And that's about it for now. I am very tired this was way more work than I thought. I might come up with more ideas another time if I think of any.

The Revolutionary army helps pirates and aims to take down the world government so why didn't they help out the WB pirates to take down the marines. It would be a massive advantage to the Revolutionary army because they would take out all the admirals which is the biggest reason why people don't want to attack the Celestial Dragons.
