Why isn't Luffy able to harm Warcury? With all due respect, I know Warcury's devil fruit is based on a mythical boar that is known for terrorizing people and destroying farms and eating livestock and people alike, and it's also known for having tough skin (which is why Luffy wasn't able to harm Warcury), but why isn't Luffy able to harm with advanced armament haki?
Advanced armament haki is supposed to give characters a second layer of defense and hit whatever their target is without touching person/object physically. Luffy in NO WAY was supposed to be harmed after using Red Roc (an advanced armament coated attack) when he used it against Warcury even if Warcury's defense is that powerful.
And even if you wanna deny that, there's also the fact Luffy has internal destruction haki (which is basically another level of advanced armament haki that only a few characters have). Even if Luffy can't hurt Warcury from the outside, he should at least be able to damage him from the inside since it's basically bypasses any defense. Add that internal destruction haki with his advanced conquerors, I'm sure Luffy should be capable of harming Warcury to some extent.
Listen, I really do love One Piece, its my all time favorite anime, but I'm not finna sit around here and not call out Oda with how inconsistent he can be at times with his writing or how specific power systems work (especially if it involves the main power system being haki). I don't care, Luffy should at least be capable of damaging Warcury with his internal destruction haki. I don't know if Oda completely forgot that was a thing or he just didn't feel like adding it in the story to make Warcury look more fearsome, but nonetheless I just can't stand how inconsistent things like this can be.
