I had this same thought. Zoro is 21. Wano fell to Kaido 20 years ago. For this theory to be correct... either, Zoro was born in Wano, but for some unknown reason they decided to send him away to the East Blue on the opposite side of the world. Or, his father travelled and knocked someone up along the way. If it were this guy, that would mean he had the best part of 2 years to return to Wano and resume his place in the Shimotsuki Clan. But, since this is Wano, would they really accept him back as their Diamyo after leaving home for so long? I know they did for Oden, but what are the chances that 2 Diamyo left at different times (or maybe at the same time) and both were welcomed back with open arms.
It may be a stretch of a theory, or maybe it’s in Oda’s plan... we just don’t know.
Luffy had his shot at BM and said he’s coming back for her. But, on Whole Cake Island, he acknowledged that he couldn’t take down BM without the help of his crew. As they rightfully said they weren’t there to pick a fight with her, otherwise they would’ve brought Zoro with them.
Kaido is the big cheese right now so Luffy will be more focused on him, especially after he declared recently to the people of Wano that he’s going to take down Kaido. He made a promise and we know Luffy doesn’t go back on a promise. As for BM I think the alliance is going to flop big time and either BM is going to stand down until a later date OR she will get involved trying to take Luffy’s head herself and get in Kaido’s way, ultimately pissing him off and ending their alliance.
The Straw Hats have only even been responsible for the death of one person (technically) and that is Shiki, who was a movie character in a non canon side story. There will be no killing of Emperors, it’s not Luffy’s style. Their alliance will probably not last, but they may have agreed to fight together on common ground because both of them want Luffy dead. They both want to take his head, so when the big fight happens it’s likely they’ll come to blows with one another when they have the “opportunity” to kill him, and in the flurry of them bickering someone will step in to save Luffy whilst he recovers, like they did in Dressrosa.
Guys... chill. Oda has already said Wano is going to be a big song and dance for Zoro. Sanji's had his turn... now it's Zoro's, both of them had very minimal backstories so it's only natural that we were given a chance to learn more about Sanji, now it's Zoro's turn... it's just taking it's sweet time about it.
Oda puts hints in the title covers as to who the next members will be as well as future events, likes Ace's death predicted on Chapter 520, or as Hawkeye's death/ defeat on Chapter 784, which may or may not happen as predicted in Chapter 944. One of the latest was in a recent Chapter, 765, there's a kid wearing a vest with the number 10 on it, and he's clinging to Jinbe's cloak. Jinbe is from that prospective lined up to be next. On the spread for 726 all the crew are standing behind their younger selves, all wearing clothes with their joining number, making this theory even more valid. 12th Supernova is right, Robin & Franky are the former enemies. People do need to get over that.
12th Supernova... Amen. Whitebeardpirates2, I really like your train of thought, it sounds really well thought out, but Marijois is above Fishman Island as you rightfully said, a location the Straw Hats have passed already. They don't travel backwards, only forwards. The point on the Redline close to where Raftel is, is reverse mountain. We don't know what if anything is below it. The Straw Hats and Marines will end up in an all out battle, and I like to think it will be at the New Marine HQ at the G1 base. I'd like to see that fight in a similar way to the War of the Best, giving Luffy the opportunity to right a wrong in a way? I like how you tied the thought behind all the Ancient Weapons but I just don't think that how it will play out, but I have no doubt it will be something along the way you're thinking with the Noah. Something is bound to happen at Marijois as the Senate is about to proceed, but I don't think the Straw Hats will have anything to do with that, because Vivi is there as is Neptune, and others they have made a sort of alliance with. I will be interesting to see how it all pans out!
They are, but they have to do all the other shows between Dubbing OP, so it takes some time, they will usually release 10 episodes on average. I read somewhere, that it would hopefully be out Feb 2017... nothing yet. Just keep your eyes open, hopefully it will be soon! Bring on the Time-Skip!
